The Yankees will have Masahiro Tanaka (3-0, 2,27 ERA) on the mound against Rays starter and fellow rookie Jake Odorizzi (1-3, 6.85 ERA). Tanaka is coming off a no-decision in his last game where he struck out 11 in 6 1/3 innings of work. He has 46 Ks in 35 1/3 innings pitched.
