Carlos Beltran got his first hit since coming off the DL against the Royals, a double to left field. (King).


 

The Yankees won’t be getting Kendry Morales, as the 1B/DH signed with the Twins.  The Yankees were never close anyway on Morales. >>>Read more on Newsday. 


Beltran is hitting, but he isn’t throwing and the Yankees don’t know when he will play defensively in the outfield again.  (Castillo).
