I noticed during the 'scenes from next' that Peter is present when Sylar goes after Claire.
I guess that means that Peter will be temporarily endowed with Sylar's powers for a telekinesis-on-telekinesis showdown. Should be interesting. It seems like only Peter or Hiro could possibly contend with Sylar.

Tonight's episode cleared up absolutely nothing, still I love the show but they can't hype without delivering.
I agree. It was looking great leading up to the peter/sylar duel- really exciting and dramatic. Then it just fizzled, like they were afraid to have anything but a buildup episode.

The duel was too predictable, you knew he wasn't going to die because he had Claire's powers.

I think some answers were given... especially with Mohindar finding his father's list. That is one of the keys to the show and probably one of the reasons he was killed.

ANOTHER freakin' episode with no resolution. I'm quickly losing patience.
I thought this was the best episode in quite a while.
I wonder how Claire's dad is able to resist the suggestion girl's powers and if he can negate all the Heroes powers.
I agree. I thought it was great and I haven't said that about this show lately.
I think that's exactly what he can do- resist any power. Probably why he isnt afraid of Sylar.
I also liked this episode. My only complaint is the niki storyline, which even with a newly-reinforced backstory, doesnt seem to be going anywhere. I really dont care whether she kills her husband or not.

definitely. they had to identify him eventually, the whole unknown masked-villain thing gets old eventually. As soon as he started prattling on about a sense of destiny or entitlement or whatever that sealed the deal- the rest was a formality.
I like the fact that it turns out that everything he has, powers-wise, is stolen. I thought he was initially telekinetic and just kind of worked from there but it's more poetic, I suppose, that he got his start this way.

If there was an actual resolution the show would be over.
There won't be a resolution next week either. There will be a cliffhanger that will leave us hanging until next year, that is how these shows work.

I don't think Claire's dad has any power. I think the Haitian dude emits a forcefield rendering powers useless as he chooses. And he wipes out memory.

Completely agree. WHich makes you wonder if he can negate all of Sylar's powers at once, which makes him and Eden very powerful foes for Sylar. Loved this past episode. I'm not a fan of the Nicki storyline, but the idea that Bad Nicki is her dead sister is very interesting.
I liked the part with Nathan and his wife in the car and how he flew away leaving her to crash on her own. I guess it sounds kind of mean when I word it that way but the scene was pretty cool. I don't think she realizes he flew out of the car so I wonder what she thinks about that. Maybe she thinks he jumped out of the car to save himself. Either way, she must be kind of bitter about the fact that the car crash paralyzed her while Nathan is okay.
I'm just glad that there's a reason she's like this. i just thought she had split personality. which i guess is still a possibility.
I don't know what to make of that. It almost looked like he didn't want to fly, or couldn't fly right to save her too. Just from his facial expressions, i dont think he was only trying to save himself.
I don't think he meant to leave her in the car to crash on her own but I also don't believe he meant to fly. I think it just happened.
They're replaying the first six episodes right now on Sci Fi. It started at six so the end of the second episode is on right now.
I want to point something out that I didn't like about two episodes ago. In the episode where Peter sees the picture of himself dead on the ground outside of the school with the clock at 8:12 PM - Peter obviously saw what his outfit was in the picture... why didn't he change his clothes to go against the picture? I know I know, I might be thinking too deep here - but I tend to do that a lot.
I think the Haitian Man blocks Sylar's powers.

I liked last night's episode, I was just starting to like Eden too. I don't understand the point of Nikki having herself arrested. Unless she learns to control Jessica, she'll (Jessica) just break out next time she appears.
Yeah I thought the bit with Nikki/Jessica was strange. That is def the worst storyline.
I agree I liked Eden too sad to see her go. I still am undecided about whether Mr. Bennett is good or not. I am inclinded to say no. But who knows if that Haitian dude can be trusted?

I think Mr. Bennett is a good guy, but I'm not sure why Eden had to go off the reservation, as it were.
And how was Sylar all of a sudden able to resist her voice, and break out of his cell? Was he faking it all this time, even to the point where he faked going to sleep the first time she told him to? I was very confused by that.
Also--Eden killed herself on purpose, right, so that he couldn't get her power? I'm guessing that he can't get at the power if the brain is splattered in little bits all over the place.
I got the impression that Sylar killed Eden, but you're right, he can't take her powers if her brain is blown to bits so it must have been her. Maybe the Haitian was surpressing his powers and since he wasn't there Sylar could control them.
Another question I have is who is Claire's dad working for? I'm starting to think Nathan is evil but it doesn't make sense that it would be him as they tried to kidnap him earlier. It's most likely someone who's been introduced already - maybe Lindeman?
Clearly Claire's dad is not working on his own. He was talking to someone above him on the phone.
Could be Linderman who we know little about. I think Nathan is bad though.

Yes, I think that Eden wisely shot herself in the head so that Sylar couldn't take her power. That was a good scene. You could kind of see the "Nooooooooo!" look on Sylar's face when the gun went off.
I can't believe we have to wait a month and a half until the next episode now. Makes me appreciate the way that 24 runs the show without any breaks even more.
