Great episode tonight. I'm really digging this show.
2009 - World Champion New York Yankees!!
I just saw an episode that I DVRed a couple of days ago. Awesome show, I can't wait until the next episode.
I haven't watched this show, but the trailer kind of reminds me of the 4400. Am I the only one?
You've got nothing to believe in but believing in yourself.

I frakking adore this show. I haven't been this psyched about a show since early days Buffy.
And I think that her dad is a shadowy government type with few morals but who will not hurt his daughter.
I'm also wondering if Sylar is like Peter in that he can soak up other Heros' abilities, but that he can keep them permanently.
This show is so great. I was still wondering a little about Peter but now it's clear that he takes on other people's powers when he's around them. I wonder what he'll be able to do when they're all together in one room?
Guys, I tivo'd last night's episode. It is the first episode I have tivo'd (I only tivo'd it since you guys seem to be loving the show). If I start watching from last night, will I have any idea what's going on? Will I be able to catch on after a few weeks? Is there a website where I can get an episode breakdown of the first few episodes?
thanks in advance,
Seymour

I know the show is considered a smash hit this season, but not sure where it falls in the rankings. I would guess fairly high as I believe I saw that it had 23 million viewers one week.Originally Posted by Smithers

This show is fantastic. Just watched last night's ep. I love it.
What is the power of the man who Hiro met with on the train? (the guy who goes to the painter)
From what I can guess...Originally Posted by THEBOSS84

The last episode was the best one so far. I love the whole thing. This show just keeps getting better and better. It's becoming one of my favorite shows.

Can someone tell me what happened at the very end of Heroes this week? My DVR cut off just as Eden knocked on Isaac the painters door. What happened?

Okay, I have watched it through the five episodes to date. I'm done. The show just bores me. I liked the premise.

I was disappointed by this last episode. I plan to continue watching it, just to find out how it progresses but there are a few things that are starting to bug me...
Ali Larter is hot but her character is lame - she seems to have more of a bad case of multiple personality disorder than a superpower... the show is moving much too slowly - it's probably trying to be "Lost-like" in that way, but what Lost has that Heroes doesn't is strong character development - I find myself getting bored at times b/c the plot's unfolding so slowly and the character's are so uninteresting and generally unlikable (except for Hiro, who actually has a personality). Some of the acting is pretty awful too.

I was thinking that by episode 5 that something, anything would happen.Originally Posted by houstonnewyawka

I think I'm jumping ship. The show just seems to be spinning its wheels, and now they're introducing new characters when they probably have too many to begin with.
Really? I think the show is revealing more information than Lost originally did.Originally Posted by CptCrunch

Wow. I am kind of surprised that everyone is willing to bail. I think the show gets better with every episode.

The last show was a dissapointment but i enjoyed "radioactiveman".
I had a feeling the kid had powers, I just thought it'd be intellectual and not electrical.
Makes sense that he would. Both of his parents have them.Originally Posted by SI Baseballman

I didn't think he knew about his mother's "other side" but they showed that he does when he was talking to Niki's alter on the phone.Originally Posted by SI Baseballman
Thanks to TiVo, I haven't jumped yet. I agree that I was expecting more from the last episode. Just seems like there is so much going on without it all really being developed.
Radioactive man was interesting. I have noticed there are two symbols, the first one is the "s" with the two flat line, and the other on looks like a quotation mark " and it was on the neck of the mindreader.
Wonder what their meanings are?

I am still enjoying it. I dunno about radioactive man - I'm trying to figure out if he killed his wife by exposure to radiation or if he could have saved her by giving her radiation treatments, but who knows.

I imagined it being from exposure, similar to those who live to close to power lines that emit radioactivity.Originally Posted by allybear

I didn't like Niki's husband at first but it looks like he's turning out to be one of the good guys.
I'm a little worried about Isaac after seeing the previews. I hope nothing bad happens to him.
I wonder if the different marks seen on the body are going to divide who is "good" and who is "bad".

Is it possible the Sylar is sucking the brains out of the "Heroes" because he can gain their powers?
That would make sense as to why the cheerleader holds the key. If he takes the brain of the "radioactive" guy and the cheerleader he could end kill everyone using a nuclear explosion and then use her power to survive it.
I thought last night was pretty interesting.

That makes sense, especially considering the explosion that is going to happen in the future.Originally Posted by boo_427

They certainly made you think about that last night, didn't they. I'm not convinced he's good yet, but it seemed to me like he was being honest with Isaac.Originally Posted by NYDCYankee
I guess they were trying to make Mr. Bennett look like more of a good guy, but I still don't know...
Boo has an interesting theory about Sylar - I've been trying to figure out why and how Claire needs saving - she's pretty able to save herself.
I hope Hiro is able to divert Memory Chick without getting lost with her - at the end, did that look like a New Year's party in the picture of them on the wall of the diner? I said yes and JP thought it was a birthday. We shall see, but they are really cute together, so I hope she gets to tag along. Also, JP noticed this one: remember when Hiro meets Peter in the future, he speaks perfect English? Well, as he was talking to the waitress last night, not only was she showing her amazing grasp of Japanese, apparently his English was improving. Hmmmm.....

and since we don't know how long he's gone with her, I wouldn't be surprised if his English is a thousand times better when he comes back.Originally Posted by allybear
