I read that massive heart attack article, but everywhere else isn't confirming. They still don't know what he died from.

Massive heart attack? Trimspa, baby! I'm sure his childhood was pretty messed up, expect a drug related death. But maybe I've seen too many E! True Hollywoood Stories.

Here's an update.

NASSAU, Bahamas - Authorities are leaving open the possibility that criminal charges will be filed in the death of the 20-year-old son of Anna Nicole Smith, the Bahamas coroner said Wednesday.
Her Majesty's Coroner Linda P. Virgill told The Associated Press that authorities believe they know what killed Daniel Wayne Smith, but are awaiting a toxicology report to confirm the findings.
"We do know the cause of death," Virgill said. "But we need to confirm it with a toxicology report."
Criminal charges? I'm confused? Somebody drugged him possibly?

I'm not sure what they mean by that. It's sounds a little strange but I guess we'll be hearing more about it soon.Originally Posted by krystl

It's also possible that he knowingly took drugs, in which case they could charge a dealer, if they know who it is.Originally Posted by krystl

They have stated that no illegal drugs were in his system. Also, someone else was in the room that night, but they won't say who...

It's very sad when someone so young dies. But I have to admit I'm always suspicious when a young person dies suddenly. I hope I'm wrong.
Those who can — do. Those who can’t — criticize.
They should have finished investigating before making any public comment. I took it to mean that there was foul play and that he was a victim . First thing that came to my mind was murder and I hope I am wrong. Poor little thing.![]()
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this difficult time. Losing a child has to be the most horrible thing in the world. God bless them all.![]()
PLEASE HELP AIDAN'S FAMILY!!

I personally can't stand it whenever I see Anna Nicole Smith on television because she always looks as if she is high on drugs. But this news is just awful because her son is not the partying type like Lindsey Lohan, the Olsen twins and other teenage stars who are constantly in the club scene. I an interested in knowing what he could have died from. It is so weird that a 20 year old with no previous medical conditions would have a massive heart attack. May God bless his soul, Anna, his father and the rest of his family.![]()
I was at Cici's Pizza with my friend last night, and their big screen had Fox News on and they were talking about this story. They stated that his death was looking "suspicious" but they wouldn't elaborate.
The independent pathologist said nothing looked suspicious, and they are awaiting toxicology results, which won't be released until 10/23. He was on antidepressants, but apparently a very low dosage.

Daniel had arrived in the Bahamas that day after a grueling flight from Los Angeles to Miami and then to Nassau. His mom's longtime pal and lawyer, Howard K. Stern, picked him up and they headed straight for Doctors Hospital to see the model and her newborn, and that's when the inTouch snaps were taken. A coroner has called Daniel Smith's death "suspicious" but ruled out foul play. An inquest is set for Oct. 23 and a jury will determine what killed him.

I can't remember where I read it, but it said she had the rights to the photos and sold them for about 6K.Originally Posted by NYDCYankee

I just saw this story on the Fox 5 news.
They said the pictures were taken by the baby's father, a freelance photographer. It's not known who sold the photos, but In Touch magazine paid $400,000 for the photo.
They don't know if a deal was struck up to publish the "family" photos before he died or not.
They also said a portion of the proceeds would go to a Daniel Smith memorial fund.

I pretty much think she's gross regardless of whether it was she who sold the pictures or not. How this pig is in the spotlight is beyond me.

It's standard for "celebrities" these days to sell the rights to the first photos of them with their babies, particularly because it helps prevent the paparazzi from stalking them to get the photos. So a deal for the photos may very well have been in place, and the photos sent to the publication before her son's death. Of course if she sold the photos afterwards, I would agree it's disgusting, but famous people, and like it or not she is famous, entering into deals like this prior to major events isn't unusual.Originally Posted by Trish

I understand that, but I still think it's gross to sell your child's photograph, under any circumstances. In this case, it's even worse. Just because it's not unusual doesn't make it any less distasteful to me. And not just that it's her (she's always been a disgusting pig in my opinion). Any celebrity that would sell their children's image makes me sick.Originally Posted by silverdsl
Even though they sell the images, the paparazzi still will fall all over themselves trying to get candid shots. It doesn't make a difference, IMO.

They can give the pictures away or sell them. If they choose not to do either, they have to deal with photographers stalking their every move to try and steal one. Selling them does seem distasteful but its really not a situation I can even fathom. And I agree that she is a pig and cannot understand how our society could be so interested in someone like her. Train wreck effect maybe?Originally Posted by Trish

Ok, I was willing to give Anna Nicole the benefit of the doubt on the whole picture issue, because it wasn't really clear what the circumsances were.
But now, the news is saying she is going to be selling off her son's belongings and even his cremation ashes. Now THAT's just not right. She is a sick woman.

What a cold hearted bit*ch to even utter those words. There is seriously something wrong with the woman. I also wonder how heartbroken she was in her 20's when her 89 year old husband died. Can you say gold digger?Originally Posted by krystl
