No - I don't believe they have released any? Just a few drawings is all I have seen.

looks dope, the luxery boxes are awesome but i doubt i'll ever be able to make it in there...theres supposed to be more bathrooms which is a relief . . . overall, im excited bout it, i just woulda hoped they would leave the current Yankee stadium as it is, and convert that whole property in a livin memorial/museum for yankee greats...it would get year round attendence guarenteed

I wish there was a way to track progress of the new stadium with a camera or something.

Also, does anyone know if and when they are gonna start digging the foundation out? I feel all they did up to this point was groundbreak (which was BS in itself) and thats it. Was the actual construction supposed to start ASAP?

Does anyone know about the dimensions of the ball park? I'm hoping they keep the same dimensions as the current stadium....

I hope it's 280-something in right, and 457 in left center, and 460 in dead center, like in the old days. Lots of triples and inside the park homers for Melky!

from everything i've seen, they're basically rebuilding the old stadium and adding luxury boxes and jacking up ticket prices. they don't need a new stadium in the least.

not that i'm against it; less luxury tax and more revenue for the team means more money to spend, and I don't care where they play or how they play, as long as their fielding the best team possible every year; and money helps to do that.

While I assume you're right about ticket prices, do you know of anything official that's been discussed?

    Re: The New Yankee Stadium

I was reading an article on wikipedia on the new stadium and an interesting thing came to me. Does anyone think season ticket holders will have to purchase PSL's? Here is an excerpt from what I read with link below:

The Yankees have not indicated what ticket prices will be in their new stadium, but team officials say they have not ruled out charging a "license fee" for each seat. This is a cover charge of several hundred dollars (or several thousand dollars, depending on the seat location) that each fan pays for the right to then purchase season tickets. Several teams have used this method to generate more revenue from their new stadiums. The Yankees no longer use the terms "season tickets" and "combination plans" in renewal notices to holders of these tickets. Five years ago, the Yankees began calling these packages "ticket licenses," but have not charged any extra money to hold a "license."

That compuer genrated video shows a similar looking RF to the current Yankee stadium. Does anyone know if the upper tiers are still going to be close to the field or will they be pushed back like I have seen in other designs?

I remember seeing a painting of the new yankee stadium which illustrated the upper deck seating as resembling comiskey field - the further up you go, the further away you are from the field.
