I want a 10-spot from the offense off Beckett and 7-8 solid innings from RJ.

I don't know how long RJ will last, but Maz is saying they want 6-7 from him and that Wright will be in the pen. At this point, every single arm that has been placed in the pen should be used.

I think that Lowell would've been better behind ManRam. Hey, I'll accept whatever charity comes my way.

If anything, since Unit's had Ortiz' number but Manny hits well off him, I think that Torre could IBB Manny if a base is open. Of course, there's nothing saying he will, as Torre seems to think that Unit should go head-to-head, even if Unit's underperforming. Bleach!!!

Dont worry, Jersey Yankee has a fresh arm and is a big game pitcher, we should not be worried at all in him taking the ball today.

    Good afternoon everyone....

I'm heading off to my real job after already working this morning at the golf course. Man, 3 hours sleep just isn't enough, but it is worth it watching the Yanks win both games yesterday.

Have a great day everyone. Go Yanks....

Thanks. I used to start the GTs quite a few times, but stopped around 2 years ago. Just figured in "what the hey" and did it. Simple as that.

Coolness. Stay out of the basement.

I seriously doubt we'll lose. Against Beckett of all people?

BTW, Beantown offered Loretta to Motown for 2 pitchers. Motown didn't bite, according to Suzyn.

I'd realized my mistake. Suzyn said "Loretta" at 2B, not today's pitcher Josh "31 HRs" Beckett.

    Good afternoon my people.

Yanks 2, Red Sox 0 so far and we're looking for the 3rd one today. Lets go get this.

MLBTV is my access way for todays game. FOX and MLB cant do anything about it.

No caps today because the game is not available on TV in Chicago (Cardinals-Cubs) so -tz will have to sub in for me.

Seriously. We need RJ to go deep into the game given the state of our bullpen right now, yet we have our worst defensive outfielder starting in CF tonight. That is not going to help Randy's pitch count.

Dick Stockton appeared to either come down with the flu or missed his flight to Boston for todays game. So Kenny Albert is filling in for him today.

I don't think thumbnail pics will do it today. For a game like this, we may need large high resolution full pictures to pull it off.

Oh come on Red Sox, get real.

According to Ken Rosenthal, the Red Sox (unnamed sources) have had some sneaky suspicions about Cory Lidle trip to the bereavement list prior to Fridays game.

Seriously, why does Fox need such a long pregame show?

    Let's Go Yankees!!!

Here's hoping to Randy going 7-8 strong innings and the Yankees offense continuing its barrage on Red Sox pitching. All ending in a big W!!

    Afternoon, Everyone!

I hope FOX isn't teasing me and getting ready to pull the rug from under my feet. They're showing the BoSox-Yankees pregame now. I'm praying they don't switch to the Cubs-Cards game.
