Besides that one game, PO had looked completely lost up there. Swinging at a lot of balls out of the zone and taking a lot of strikes.
"Jesus Montero is a stud," one evaluator wrote in an e-mail. "One of the best young hitters I've ever seen, period."

Because he throws sinkers 85% of the time. The ball continues to go down and its like hitting a shot put. Posada doesnt call for many 4 seamers despite the fact Wang throws 94 MPH. Kevin Brown back in the day got alot of K's because he would throw the 4 seamer up and hitters were expecting it.

Thats the difference from I can tell.

Thats about the time he started slumping. He needs to see more pitches if he wants to stop slumping.

The Yankees are now 206-1 when Mariano has been asked to protect a four-run lead.

Gameday was screwing up, first it showed him as a three pitch strikeout, then it changed. Us who can't watch were confused.

Unlike Andy, Craig can consistently hit the fastball.

Like Andy, he can't hit a breaking ball at all.

    Jesus Montero since June 1 (286 at-bats):
    .325/.386/.605/.991
    July 1 (182 at-bats):

Craig Wilson needs to bend his knees more at the plate
Peter Gammons drinks Boston toilet water thereby causing him to talk sh*t from time to time... Schilling has obviously given up his Sam Adams for it. f**k boston.
