Are you kidding me???? I can't freakin stand this.
Mini Putt My record is 20
    I STILL support A-Rod
    A-Rod's 2010 Season: .325, 63 HR, 164 RBI

My prediction for Javier Jazquez in 2010: 12-10, 4.84

He's starting to regress back to the pitcher he should be right now. Hasn't been all that sharp recently. Yanks will score runs.

Just a terrible luck inning right now. Just nothing you can do. He really has made exactly one bad pitch and gotten no help or luck.

By the way, this is a guy the Angels have never seen before. Wanna bet the Yankees will get five hits, including a second pitch homer ... all GAME ... against a guy they've never seen before?

I don't have the numbers off the top of my head, but back during the whole A-Rod=Knoblauch circus, ESPN pointed out that at the time, very few of his errors had resulted in runs scoring.

Why is this game on YES? It should be on Comedy Central. Here comes the bases clearing double.

Well whether or not he's doing anything wrong, he's on the verge of letting the Angels end this game before his team ever bats.

And this has to be the most generous official scorer in the history of the game.

Re: August 13, 2006 - Angels @ Yankees from Yankee Stadium

I am most concerned about the pen today, as they really don't have the ability to use the key guys late for more than an inning or so.

Re: August 13, 2006 - Angels @ Yankees from Yankee Stadium

Curtis Pride with a chance to put this game away in the first inning.

Well this is why he'll never be an ace, he can have innings like this, where he does little wrong and his defense and luck fails him.

Not a huge inning. Yanks win this game, and Wang settles in quite nicely. Anyone here surprised if Wang throws up a 7 inning, 4 run game today? Not me. He's getting grounders, just bad luck there.

  45. #195

Re: August 13, 2006 - Angels @ Yankees from Yankee Stadium

Holy crap -- I didn't even realize there was still only 1 out.

Yanks need to come back and score at least 1 in the first inning. If they go 1-2-3, the tone will be set for the rest of the game.

Other then the Figgins HR....you cant blame Wang for any of this. His defense didnt help him at all. ARod boots an easy grounder, Jeter shows his lack of range up the middle, and for some reason Cano is standing next to the 2B bag on two occassions.

It was a strike in the middle part of the plate, he swung. Chances are it's on the ground against Wang.
