    I'm a rounded Grandpa now!

    While I've been away from NYYFans, I became a happy grandpa once again. What I mean by calling myself rounded... is that my eldest daughter delivered a precious baby girl. Now, Jenn and I can say that we have both a granddaughter and grandson!

    Baby's Mommy, Kristin, and Daddy, Clinton, welcomed their daughter, Kailey Lei'haulani Koga, into the world on June 24, 2006. Kailey weighed six pounds, two ounces and measured 19 inches.

    Of some possible interest to you Yankee fans here is the fact that Kailey was born in the same hospital as a now measured, 82-inch current Yankee, born nearly 43-years hence in Walnut Creek.

    No word yet as too Kailey's team allegiance.
    Just a Sox Fan with a Yankee Wife in tow... and with one little Red Sox fan now welcoming her new baby Yankee fan sister into "our" Yankees/Red Sox World.

    I'm sure she's a Yankees fan. I'm also sure that "little Red Sox fan" you mention in your signature is really a Yankees fan, and you won't admit it!

    Nine more and you catch up to me. We have 6 boys and 5 girls, and as far as I know, all are Yankee fans. One is even named Andy Phillips for our sometimes firstbaseman.

    Thanks to everyone for the congratulations about my new granddaughter. She's being well taken care of by her mommy & daddy for sure and is already smiling.

    I missed this place while I was gone. I appreciate all of you very much and thank you all for your friendship here.
