He turned himself in.

Now Montero is DEFINITELY the better prospect.
Calmer than you are.
i dunno, will he stay at catcher though?

Just going by their pictures, Villalona looks more likely to be a murderer than Montero.
Baseball America: "Montero walks more, but I really like Villalona's murder %"

If it was Basketball we were talking about I still would go with Villalona because he seems to have a better shot.Originally Posted by JavyVazquezIsSick

well, with his murder %, he might actually be better off in the NFL

observe the low brow, a certain indicator that his mind is up to no good. in addition, the fro and the earing are definite red flags that this kid has every intention of growing up to be a thug, and thugs are more often than not associated with such crimes as murder, rape, and robbery
the writing was on the wall with this one

The kid will be locked for two months, awaiting for trial.

It's sad when this happen... this kid is so young!
Buster Posey is getting Melancon'ed. He's only gotten 3 ABs this month.

I spent my #1 waiver claim on him, that I saved all year.Originally Posted by CallOfTheCrow

He hit his first homerun in the majors, but the fan who caught it wants $10,000Originally Posted by hallofamer2000

The fan probably makes more money than Carson. What a douche.
Bring back Ted Lilly!
Man Michael Bowden is really bad at baseball.
Jeez he just turned 23...give the kid a break.Originally Posted by cliftonite

His minor league numbers are superb but his stuff doesn't match. I've seen him multiple times live and 1)his FB was flat + rarely topped 90 mph; 2)his above-average changeup aside, he had no command of a lackluster breaking ball.
He is what he is. If he doesn't have command or develop a solid breaking ball as a starter he'll get crushed. Much like an Ian Kennedy.

I'm sure glad he can no longer be looked at as a centerpiece of a deal for a real player.
Except for some reason BA always liked him more than Kennedy. I have no clue why.Originally Posted by Melan-cynic

Wonder where his velo is at. If he continues to sit 96-98 with that devastating slider, he could make the team out of Spring.

Parker having TJ. Sucks for the D-Backs. I was even excited about him.
I thought TJ surgery only existed amongst Yankee prospects.

Igawa & Dunn for Strasburg. They get two lefties & we get one. They're getting the better deal here.

Especially after yesterday's performance.
"Stephen Strasburg, making his second professional start, dealt for the first time in years with the experience of getting rocked. In Thursday's Arizona Fall League game between Strasburg's Phoenix Desert Dogs and the Peoria Javelinas, Strasburg went 2 2/3 innings, allowing eight runs, seven earned, and three home runs. He gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out four."
Yeah I had a brain cramp there.Originally Posted by McMoose
