This has the potential to be an excellent deal for the Reds.

Eddie is still one of the game's top lefties.

Which game are you referring to?

Looks like John Franco 2.0 to me.

He is only 35, it is too soon to pronounce him as finished because of 29 subpar innings.

I don't think he has much left, but it seems like a low risk move for the Reds which could pay some dividends.

Wow, how things have fallen for Travis Chick. He was once considered a pretty good prospect with an outstanding fastball. Now he's a double A tomato can.

So, effectively, Guardado really was worth Chick 'n sh!t.

    Sounds about right.

Low risk move for the Reds especially with Seattle sending cash. Their bullpen needed help.

The Reds needed bullpen help. They tried David Weathers. Weathers lost the closer gig. Todd Coffey blew some saves.

Hopefully, Everyday Eddie can stablize the closer role for the Reds.

Well, you know what? I'm glad that he's gone. I was just talking about him yesterday saying and hoping that he would be traded... finally. Something is done. Finally, the Mariners are trying to turn around. Finally.

Eddie was giving up bombs in Safeco. The bleacher fans better always pay attention in Cincy whenever he's in the game.
