This should be the best chance for the Yankees to gain a game today. With the guy Boston has pitching tonight it will take a miracle to win.

Won't be here for most of the game, going to watch in HD in the next room over.
Let's get some revenge for last night's miserable performance.
Moose needs to go the distance tonight.

Good evening my people.
I missed last nights game to hang out with the family and friends on the 4th and I see I missed a doozy last night.
Hopefully we wont have the same tonight.
Go Yanks. And go D'Rays I guess as I see they are playing well against the Red Sox.

revenge begins now,
I would like some runs to set a tone, and no DP to kill an inning.

Who is pitching for Boston? Haven't heard.Originally Posted by marietta_soxfan

Good evening everyone.
Hope springs eternal with a different starting pitcher tonight. Play ball.....

ESPN and the rest of the media has declared the Yankees dead...
Let's prove 'em wrong. Go Yanks.
Hello everyone ... hasn't Byrd been tough on Yankees?![]()

Oh, thanks. I see he has quite a few losses.Originally Posted by WebsterMulligan

The Yankees appear to be mildly concerned about the injury and manager Joe Torre indicated that he will yank Mussina if they sense he's struggling with it.

Torre seemed to be hedging a bit on the radio pregame. Of course, he wasn't about to say, "No, John, Mussina is feeling quite a bit of pain there and we are only hoping against hope he won't have to field any bunts or rush to cover any close plays at first ... "Originally Posted by Socal Pinstriper

Giambi strikes out... The Cap' steals second.
2 outs.
When have we seen this? Jason is 3-0 ... then he's 3-2 ... then he strikes out.
Luckily, with Martinez catching, Jete steals second anyway.
They need to be cautious.Originally Posted by -tz

Alex grounded out.![]()
at least ARod will hear cheers from this crowd when he grounds out..
I use to think that too... until Munson put one into Monument Park off a Bird in the 3rd game of the 78 ALCS with a runner on base to give the Yankees a 6-5 win.Originally Posted by -tz

Ugh, Indians may have Moose's number, according to the account Kay just gave ...
Sizemore Ks, one out ...
That's a real pitcher.
Moose sits Sizemore down.
Compared with last night, you may have a point!Originally Posted by Socal Pinstriper

It appears as if some people dont know what channel to turn to for the game if you are outside of the YES broadcast area.
The game is on Channel 657 (Sportstime Ohio) and Channel 206 (ESPN) is you have DirecTV.

Peralta retired on a LONG flyball out.
Inning over.
I don't claim to be a pitching expert...
BUT, can they stop throwing 0-2 fastballs to Peralta?
Yes but I figured it would Jeter not DamonOriginally Posted by 4bronxbombers

Peralta flies out to Damon to end the inning.
Last night, that would have been a homerun. Inning over.

Thinking back to that Giambi at bat, I wonder if Byrd went 3-0 on him deliberately ... thinking that that way he could throw at least one pitch right over the plate and not have to worry about Giambi hitting it out ...
Also, is it just me, or has Jason been walking less lately than we are accustomed to seeing him do?

Two quick outs for Byrd ... guys, can't we at least get him to throw a lot of pitches?![]()
