I have no intention of finding out if it sucks or not. Zero interest. Jack Black annoys me to no end.

I saw it thursday night and I thought it was hilarious. But maybe that says more about me than it does about the movie itself.

Agreed. I just don't get this fascination with Jack Black. He's not even a poor man's Belushi. Hell, he's not even a homeless man's Belushi.

I am a little partial to Tenacious D playing Black Sabbath's, Heaven & Hell. I guess it's the Ronnie James Dio fan in me.

As far as movies go, I think Jack Black was perfectly suited for his role in Old School...(and apparently rather imperfectly suited for Nacho Libre. The current issue of US Magazine previews it and says "Pint-sized Black wears spandex and bares more than we thought was legal in a PG movie.")

Combination of Jack Black and from the same people that brought us that abomination Napolean Dynamite and I have zero interest.

Bingo! What sucks is I bet this POS movie becomes just as cult and loved as Napoleon. It's amazing that movies without jokes make so many people laugh.

OK, Napoleon Dynamite is hilarious. Leave it alone.

This movie, however, sucked hardcore. I went last night. Man, is it bad!! The sad part is that I felt as though I was the only person in the theatre who was NOT laughing. There was an annoying teenager behind me who kept giggling at every stupid scene, and I wanted to smack the sh*t out of her. Everybody else was cracking up. All I could think was, "What are you seeing that I'm not? This is just plain dumb." Jack Black was pretty funny in School of Rock, but not in this.

Not seeing it. I couldn't expect anything better than suckiness out of this movie (and out of Jack Black, for the most part).

I sat through most of Napoleon Dynamite (walked out before it ended) and did not laugh once. The only reaction the movie gave me was strong urge to reach through the screen and beat Napoleon into a bloody pulp.

I passed out at least 3 of the first 5 times I watched it and couldn't understand until I kept (not sure why) watching it why everyone loved it. It's fabulous. You really have to give it a few chances. The less you expect the more you like it.

I got drunk before I saw Nacho Libre. It helped....but not that much.

Really, the only times I laughed were when Jack Black sang... but not because the songs were funny, just because it reminded me of Tenacious D. I like Jack Black but this sucked

This movie was terrible. What made it even worse were the other people around me who actually thought it was funny and were practically jumping out of their seats laughing. One of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I wonder how many of them were just laughing based on teh fact that it's the Napoleon Dynamite guy.

Interesting to note that my first exposure to Jack Black was Saving Silverman, a movie I love....except for HIM. Black spends the entire movie trying to be a hybrid combination of John Belushi in Animal House and Chris Farley in Tommy Boy.

It's already been done...and by funnier comedians.
Waiting for Sterling to retire so I can start listening to games on the radio again...

Hmmm... Maybe JB should stop acting and record another album. I defy anyone here to pick up Tenacious D's self titled and NOT piss their pants laughing.
