Thanks for that.
And after reading the comment left by that brain dead idiot, it makes you really appreciate the Sox fans on here.
Hopefully he gets hit by a bus or something.FourierXForm (32 minutes ago)
As a Red Sox fan...I'm loving the TJ Beam era. DEEEEEELICOUS!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA....YANKEES SUCK...YANKEES SUCK

That Red Sox fan comment....ha...what a douchebag. Let him get some more innings before judgment is passed. He also called TJ Beam delicious.
Apparently Guidry likes him, hope he stays up here even when Dotel comes back in about 10 days.
What did Guidry say about him?Originally Posted by puckmaster87

Right now, the Yankees have twelve pitchers on the staff. I can't see them carrying a thirteen man staff, so who do you move off the 25-man roster to activate Dotel and keep Beam?
Forgive me for taking the Contrarian view
They will have to choose between Beam and Smith. If Beam produces, I think Smith will go back down just because of his handedness. I can't see them carrying 3 lefties in the pen.Originally Posted by longtimeyankeefan

Thanks for the post!
Let's go for #28! A-Rod for 2010 AL MVP!
I was there yesterday and will be leaving shortly for today's game. It was great seeing Beam's first outing. I was surprised he was pitching since he had just pitched the night before for Columbus, but we needed somebody out there with Farns out and Chacon not going 5. Beam looked pretty good. Dialed it up to 95 once or twice and was consistently hitting 92,93,94. I was checking the stadium gun after each pitch. I think it was his slider that he was throwing that hit 87 just about every time he threw it. I hope he's here to stay. One bad pitch to Ward. Beam's AB was funny. (Not so much since we blew the game) He didn't have a prayer up there and was laughing on his way back to the dugout. Not his fault. We were sitting about 12 or 13 rows behind the Yanks ondeck circle and took a ton of pics. We'll be farther back today and more down the right field line.

The Sox kid sounds like a tool. Thanks for posting the link. I didn't get to see the game yesterday (except for Damon's GS)!Originally Posted by Nick

Looked pretty good at least he throws strikes..
Doin' it again in 2010..
It would of been nice if Torre realized how tired he was and didn't throw him in for the 7th...
Calmer than you are.
