Anyhow, we have always crushed Lopez

With Javy catching and our lineup semi-depleted, we should be running early and often.

Protect the plate DJ, don't chase pitches, win this at-bat with a base hit.

He has 11BB's to 7K's and he had streak of 5 consecutive AB's where he got to a 3-2 count. I think he's also seeing the most pitches per AB on the Yankees behind Giambi, but i could be wrong.

Hi Hans. Even though its nearly 2PM in the east, the day still has that morning feel to it. I hope the Yanks don't feel the same way about the day, too.

Good afternoon people. I report today from work where MLBTV has come through with the YES feed and its so slow here at work that I may be actually able to follow the game pitch by pitch.

Go Yankees!! BTW, when does Tejada get dusted? Or is it just going to make him mad if we do it?

He really should be DFA'd along with several others.

I wake up hungover....only to see Small struggling again, which isnt really a surprise. We are usually hit and miss against Lopez--we kill him sometimes, other times he shuts us down.

Hopefully the offense has a big day.

    July 1 (182 at-bats):
