Come on Andy, launch this one

If Small, Erickson and whoever can put up some zeroes, we can make this respectable.

    Schilling exploding
The Yankees are now 206-1 when Mariano has been asked to protect a four-run lead.

Unfortunately, productive outs dont help much when you are down by alot. We needed Jorge and Robbie to get on base.

    Jesus Montero since June 1 (286 at-bats):
    .325/.386/.605/.991
    July 1 (182 at-bats):
    .348/.417/.658/1.075

If we can just get to Melky a grand slam would cement his status with Torre.

Pretty double down the line by Andy. Let's bring these two runs in.

Mediocre overall pitching is an accurate description.

I still think the offense is capable of putting up some runs, minus Sheff and Matsui.

Huge spot in this game. A hit by Cairo makes it interesting.

    Jesus Montero since June 1 (286 at-bats):
    .325/.386/.605/.991
    July 1 (182 at-bats):

Basehit here...makes a ballgame. Cairo yet with one of his productive 2 out hits for the Yanks this year.

If we gain anything out of tonight can it please be:

Phillips might actually be able to hit ok when given the chance, while Cairo has done nothing except go 0 for 6 in the last 2 games.

Wake up Joe! Use Cairo as an emergency backup IF and use Phillips at 1B, not as a DH!!!

Small ERA is down to 9.00! Let's shave some more off that and then let Scotty Proctor go 2 innings to finish it.

Time for Tex to be knocked on his ass.

Melky made it an adventure out there, but a gun to Jete & a gun to Po (who blocked the plate). Huge collision, big Tex makes another out on the basepaths.
