The Yankees are now 206-1 when Mariano has been asked to protect a four-run lead.

Don't worry people, next inning the Yankees will score 3 runs. Note the pattern developing. I don't know how many the Rangers will score as they have no pattern.

Quote my lame Torre and Bernie one-liners. Here, I'll write some for you: Torre is a bad in game manager. Bernie is a very bad hitter and fielder in general, but is still average from the right side of the plate. Those lame one-liners represent my opinion.

You really have no agenda with respect to Andy and Torre?
First of all, I did not say that YOU were responsible for the Torre and Bernie one-liners. I simply mentioned the one-liners to help you find the true agendas that exist here, since you seem to have assumed the role of agenda-policeman-of-the-day.

It is no secret that I happen to admire Torre, and that I really don't think that Andy Phillips is second coming the way that many here do.

That has nothing to do with the fact that Andy crushed a a hanging pitch. I gave him credit for a nice hit. I described the pitch. If, given my history here, that colors whatever I say pertaining to Phillips, then so be it.

But I resent you putting words in my mouth, and your attempt to beat down any type of comment that does not conform to what the flock of lemmings believes.

That was about as slow as you can turn a DP.....Cano did a good job on the pivot, but A-rod took a year to make the play.

I went overboard analyzing what you said, etc, don't think this is an argument worth having, I guess I just also resented at the time what I felt was an effort to take away from one of the few good things Andy Phillips has had on the Yankees. I dont think he is the second coming either, but I feel he could probably be an ok platoon against lefties if Torre used him correctly (and bear in mind "correctly" is according to me).

Just came back from coaching a Junior League (13-14 yr olds) Game (my son's on the team). We got 10 run ruled as we lost 12 - 0.

Got in the car to hear the Yankee score. Yay.

The Yankees will surprise nearly everyone though. They will chip away and win this thing.

undercoating is something designed to keep all kinds of crap from damaging the underside of your car.

but unless you drive through construction sites or have a ton of salt on the roads during winter, i'd skip it.
