Chacon just can't throw strikes. He does this every game now.

You mean to say the Yanks dont have an "Aaron Rowand" type of player? I would be inclined to agree with that. They are also referred to as "dirt dogs"

Even when he gets out of trouble, he throws so many pitches which means the bullpen is going to get a lot of work, regardless of the score.

As I'm typing this... he gives up a 2 run single. 4-0 Texas.

I'm gonna go watch the Nets-Heat game.....this game has 11-1 written all over it.

    Jesus Montero since June 1 (286 at-bats):
    .325/.386/.605/.991
    July 1 (182 at-bats):
    .348/.417/.658/1.075

I haven't even checked their roster in awhile. Beyond Pudge and Maggs, I'm not too sure what they're up to. I think they have a very good record with about 20 wins right now, but I'd have to check.

Young singled to left center, Wilkerson and Barajas scored, Matthews to second.

I guess that GIDP I was asking for was too much, huh?

    This is horrible.

Not to mention the fact that these Texas announcers are the worst homers I've ever seen.

thats what happens when you walk Gary Matthews Jr.

    4-0 TEX.

Now Teixeira with a 2 run double.

    6-0 TEX

    With our offense..lack thereof..game over.

SoCal, maybe there was something to that whole "no one wanted to start a GT" tonight thing you were talking about earlier.

way to not put pressure on our offense
Mini Putt My record is 20
    I STILL support A-Rod
    A-Rod's 2010 Season: .325, 63 HR, 164 RBI

My prediction for Javier Jazquez in 2010: 12-10, 4.84
I will gladly eat my words if I am way off.

The Yankees are now 206-1 when Mariano has been asked to protect a four-run lead.

Chacon not doing well tonight, I think it's safe to say. We can't expect a stellar performance every time out. Now they've got six on the board, I'd like to see him get the opportunity to pitch through it, because Small is no upgrade.
