He's hitting the ball well lately. His BA is gonna be useful because he's in a position to drive in runs.Originally Posted by dabomb2045

His throw to third hit the runner in the back, and bounced away, allowing the run to score.Originally Posted by Mark19

Koronka has very good numbers
The Yankees are now 206-1 when Mariano has been asked to protect a four-run lead.
What the hell is he swinging at?
"Jesus Montero is a stud," one evaluator wrote in an e-mail. "One of the best young hitters I've ever seen, period."
Damon flailed at strike 3 there...

Damon has been horrible of late.

How long before Damon is demoted out of CF and Bernie is put back there because "he knows CF at Yankee Stadium better than anybody else"?Originally Posted by Socal Pinstriper

These next few weeks are going to be brutal. The Yanks current offense is better only than the Royals at the moment. Our pitching hasn't been very inspiring either. Torre has his heart set on ruining every outing by throwing in Sturtze or Erickson if the starter doesn't go 8.

Outfield defense.
So that's how it looks.
Up yours, Mench!
I wish the Yankees made more plays like that.

Resigning Bernie was probably the worst off season move made by any team in baseball. I love the guy but he is not an everyday player.
I think he was referring to Jeter hitting the single...Originally Posted by Jersey Yankee

I never thought about that. I figured you throw to where the bag is, and when the runner gets there at the same time, then you haven't missed by much.Originally Posted by Socal Pinstriper

Take a look at 6 thru 9.....it rivals that of a AAA lineup. And when Posada and Cano have to hit 4th and 5th....not good.Originally Posted by knickfan23

Yes there has to be accountability for that run scoring somewhere. If the infielder never touched it then who else can the error go to but the one who threw it? It's a hard error to get but that's baseball!Originally Posted by Socal Pinstriper
