I don't think this thread is a good idea.
I'm talking about legal sites only.Originally Posted by RhodyYanksFan

Some sites offer really good deals -- better than what you'd pay for the movie if you bought the DVD.Originally Posted by RhodyYanksFan

26.99 to buy, 3.95 to rent (renting means you get it for 30 days, however, once you click play, you get it for the next 24 hours.)
On Amazon.com, the two disc collectors edition of Walk the Line is 24.76 (the regular is 14)

So if you buy the actual DVD, you get an extra disc of bonus stuff, the ability to take the movie with you anywhere, and save two bucks.
If you rent it, it's 4 bucks for 24 hours. At Blockbuster, it's like 5 bucks, and you get it for like 15 days before they start to charge you (those no late-fee rules confuse me, so I could be off on the days.)
Why anyone would buy a movie that you could only watch on the computer for more money then the special edition of the DVD boggles my mind. If you don't want to illegally download, that's cool, but go to Blockbuster, or buy it, or sign up for NetFlix, it appears to be quite cheaper.
Um, screw that.
