I just watched it. I don't know what episode they're up to, but it was a little hard to follow. Anyone care to give me a little series recap so far?
BTW I'm psyched for the return of Rescue Me on May 30.
In the first episode, the crew of thieves steal some jewels from a vault and also discover a ton of cash that they didnt intend to steal. They take the cash not knowing that it belonged to members of the chinese mob. They are spotted by the Chinese mob leaving the scene and now are the mob's targets.Originally Posted by RhodyYanksFan
Also in the first episode, Andre Braugher's wife was killed in a car crash and he is now left to care for his stepdaughter because her deadbeat dad in Hawaii wants nothing to do with her. But she doesn't trust him and is afraid of him because she saw him shoot a member of his group who was killed because he became a risk to the rest of them.
Their new job which they are prepping for is to get on board a passenger plane carrying 40 million dollars of gov't money and steal it.
Overall the show is a bit confusing and jumbled. Even at its most intense moments, it is pretty tame and not as cutting edge as you'd expect from an FX show.
I gave it a shot for two episodes just because I like Braugher but unfortunately the show is a miss. Its worst sin is that it's boring.
I tivo'd it and just watched it. It was OK, but nothing great. I've already got so many other shows to watch that I think I'll pass on this one.
Thanks. I really like Andre Braugher, and the previews for next week where they're on the plane look real good. I'll give it another shot.
I've been watching it because I'm a Braugher fan as well, I agree it's been boring. I'll probably watch the last couple just to see what happens, maybe it will pick up.

I agree that its boring. The only show I really watch faithfully is The Shield. So since the Thief commercials were always on during it I gave it a shot. I've watched the first 3 episodes already so I guess I'll just finish up to see if it improves. I usually just DVR them and watch them when Im free and dont have to sit through commercials.
You know, that's the other thing - I just don't feel like taking on a new show right now.
