Then I gotta find out if PS 2 is still updating rosters. I would rather play the old MVP with updated rosters than anything else out there. That might even go for PS3 when it comes out, MVP is THE game when it comes to baseball.

I have the 2k5 game - I should buy the new one, coz I don't have my xbox hooked up to the 'net.

I was really hoping this thread was going to say they will be making MVP '06, I don't have the online stuff.
Burns: I wonder if this Homer Nixon is any relation?
Smithers: Unlikely, sir. They spell and pronounce their names differently.

If you guys haven't visited this site yet, you should:

If you guys don't have it, get the PC version. You could probably get it for less than 10 bucks nowadays.

That is very interesting they keep updating. I wonder if they can or will continue to that this season. I would be more inclined to get last years MVP over the upcoming MLB 2k6.

I played 2k4, which was a good game (just bad online record keeping wise), 2k5 was a huge disappointment (which I got because I knew MVP was no longer getting MLB players starting this year) and the World Series version I heard was even worse, which raised red flags for me getting 2k6.

I don't want to play, just want to know what system you're using.

I'm chinooks. My record is less than stellar (actually sucks) but if you see my on line on Xbox hit me up for a game. My signature makes it obvious what team I use. I also play NHL 2k6.

They can't update any more rosters for 2006 since they lost the license. A bunch of modders over at mvpmods are updating the game for 2006 for PC and it's going to be sweet!!!

Yeah, that's bad news for us console gamers. I'm going to end up getting "MLB: The Show" when it comes out. I feel like letting out a deep sigh but it doesn't matter. I don't think MVP NCAA Baseball will be as good just because it's college and not MLB.

Went on last night, turns out the Mets rosters did have LoDuca, Delgado and Wagner, although Braden Looper was buried on the B-Mets instead of in Philly. I didn't bother to check if Damon was a Yank.
