One of the great moments in NY sports history. I miss those years. Ewing screaming at the top of his lungs after the Knicks go on a huge run and the other team has to call a time out, Starks pumping up the crowd or pointing to the New York on his jersey, always seeing Oak on the floor fighting for the ball, not taking sh*t from any team.
Now we're stuck with guys that look like corpses out on the court.
That was probably the highest moment I've had as a Knicks fan (beating Indiana in Game 7 of the East Finals in 94 being the other one). The Bulls had tormented us for years...and that was the year we finally were gonna beat them. We were up 2-0, had home court...and were playing great basketball. I remember feeling that the Knicks were invincible, and a championship was a mere formality...no way the Bulls could come back on us down 0-2, we were too good....we were also better then Phoenix and surely would have beaten them in the Finals.
Then it all fell apart so quickly....a Game 3 loss, Jordan scoring 55 in Game 4, the Charles Smith debacle in Game 5, and predictably losing Game 6

But seriously, Lundqvist has been nothing short of a savior for you guys behind the net. Which has totally been our problem all year -- great farm system, great offense, awesome defense, but we haven't had a decent starting goalie since we dumped Vanbiesbrouk. Sometimes I get so frustrated I just want to throw something at Robert Esche. (He probably wouldn't be able to save it.)

Mine is of Philip Hughes, who I hope will be the Yankee ace for many years. Getting a little bored with it though, but I can never find pictures that are small enough to make into avatars.

Goaltending always seems to be the reason why the Flyers never advance deep into the playoffs consistently....I dont think this year will be any different
