If ESPNEWS reports anything, they will just be reporting that there's a story out there saying that Damon has agreed to play for the Yankees. If they comfirm the story then that would be different.

but they seem to be blowing it off as just a rumor. Nothing about a 4 year deal...nothing about the report from that TV station

I agree. He bolsters our lineup and hopefully we signed him to a reasonable contract in those 4 years. Not to mention he improves the most glaring need coming into this offseason: outfield defense.
