I attended the Yankees-Indians series in Cleveland over the weekend, and it was great! But I was a little disappointed that there weren't more Yankees fans at the Jake. I guess I'm just used to all of the Yankees fans who come down to Camden Yards!

The one problem with the series this weekend was that on Friday night, I was sitting in the section next to the moron who pounds on that damn drum whenever the Indians have a man in scoring position. I was in the same row as he was, about 10 people to his right. If you think that drum is loud on TV, you should try sitting that close to it! I wanted to slam that guy's head right through his stupid drum. And the Yankees lost that game! &po'd& Jacobs Field is a nice ballpark, but that drum has got to go!

I'm glad you had a great time Shel.

Just in case your interested, I have a standing $100. bounty on the drum, and $10. for the moron's scalp.

By the way, who'd you root for?
    Hail to the REDSKINS!

His scalp? I'd just be happy if you could take the drumsticks away from that idiot.

Who did I root for? Well, according to my roommate (the Indians fan with whom I attended the games), I rooted for the Indians. But let's put it this way...I was quite happy with the outcome of the series!

Didn't you just love the play in the game on Saturday (I think) when Jacob Cruz was going after the fly ball and ended up tumbling through the door into the Indians' bullpen?!

Yeah, that was some play. That one has gotta make on to a blooper tape.

It may take a little more time, but I think we're going to make a Yankee fan outta you yet.

My uncle went to Saturday's game so I know he was one of the few yankee fans.
It was a great series, wasn't it.

Shel, were you there for all 3 games? I was there with 8 other Yankee fans for Saturday and Sunday and there were plenty of fans around me. We sat in the upper deck on Saturday and then moved down to the second level on Sunday were there weren't as many Yank fans. Had a great time though and came back pretty hoarse and drunk with victories !!!! The "Jake" is a nice park though, dont you think? I still like Camden better. But as Dorothy said, "There's no place like home."
    GO YANKEES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, I was there for all 3 games. You didn't miss anything on Friday!

I really like the Jake, but I do prefer Camden Yards. Haven't been to Yankee Stadium yet, but that will change this Saturday.
