If you could attend any ONE Season of games including possible playoffs and World Series games... in the entire history of mlb... any team's complete schedule of games both home and away... OTHER THAN YOUR FAVORITE TEAM. Which particular season would you attend and why... and of course with what team's schedule?
In my case I will pass on any Yankee ones also, even though there are many of those seasons I'd have a hard time choosing from - which led me to think about this question in the first place... and to take a look at other teams!
I would have to pick the Chicago White Sox with players Joe Jackson, future HOF 2nd baseman Eddie Collins, Eddie Cicotte and the rest. The season would be 1919... from beginning to end against the Cincinnati Reds in the World Series. History and wonder are the reasons and a look at Joe Jackson to wonder why?
