    Which season in history...

If you could attend any ONE Season of games including possible playoffs and World Series games... in the entire history of mlb... any team's complete schedule of games both home and away... OTHER THAN YOUR FAVORITE TEAM. Which particular season would you attend and why... and of course with what team's schedule?

In my case I will pass on any Yankee ones also, even though there are many of those seasons I'd have a hard time choosing from - which led me to think about this question in the first place... and to take a look at other teams!

I would have to pick the Chicago White Sox with players Joe Jackson, future HOF 2nd baseman Eddie Collins, Eddie Cicotte and the rest. The season would be 1919 ... from beginning to end against the Cincinnati Reds in the World Series. History and wonder are the reasons and a look at Joe Jackson to wonder why?

Just a Sox Fan with a Yankee Wife in tow... and with one little Red Sox fan now welcoming her new baby Yankee fan sister into "our" Yankees/Red Sox World.

    Wow-that is an awesome question.....

Growing up, I remember the 1982 Brewers (Harvey's Wallbangers) team being really fun-but they didn't win the WS, so I wouldn't take them.

A little before my time, but I liked the 1968 Tigers. Did anyone see that HBO show about how that team helped heal the city during a lot of racial tension? I thought it was really good-and they beat a heavily favorite, defending champion Cardinals team in 7 games, beating the great Gibson.
    Don't look down here.

I suppose the 1908 season has interested me (except the Yankee team was 51-103. Three NL teams separated by 1 game and 3 AL teams by 1 1/2 teams. Probably the greatest pitching duel with one week left.. Big Ed Walsh of the White Sox strikes out 15 but loses 1-0 as Cleveland Nap pitcher Addie Joss pitches a perfect game.

So much so as for helping with the racial tensions... in a great part because of a guy named Willie Horton!

Terrific question. I really can't narrow it down to one. I'd like to say 1967,
for the AL pennant chase, but that one involves the White Sox, my
favorite team. Ditto with 1964 and 1959.

I'll go with the 1927 Yankees, just to see them steamroll the entire AL
on their way to the series. I would just like to see Babe Ruth and Lou
Gehrig in action, and see all the ballparks as they looked during that
    era.

The 1962 and 1969 Mets. The first, to see if they were as staggeringly bad
as history says, the second to see the "Miracle Mets" win the pennant only
    seven years later.

1954 Cleveland Indians. I am a fan of teams that just blasted their way
into the postseason. I'd like to see the "One Hit Wonder" Indians at the
    peak of their powers.
