At least he works out, unlike the RB with lots of mileage on his legs that we have now.

Alas, Jones signs in KC. Supposedly Willie Parker is in for a visit, so I guess we're going for the "if we're gonna have a RB who's lost a step at least we'll have one who is cheap" route.

So we decided to sign both Johnson and Parker. Wonder if Janky Spanky is getting a message sent to him?

According to Twitter, the Redskins have made a trade for McNabb.

Why the EAgles would trade him in division, I won't know.

Redskins aren't as bad as Raiders, which McNabb allegedly didn't want to play for. I guess Campbell's relegated to the bench for now.

McNabb, as long as he's healthy, he can be pretty good. I'm concerned about mileage though, he's pretty old.

Wonder if the Skins will draft a QB and groom him while McNabb plays.

    Never saw this coming.

I think this moves means they think Bradford will be gone and they don't like anyone else at 4. I assume they will take Okung there and get another tackle for the other side. It's an interesting move to say the least.

I just don't get the in-division trade. I know ESPN was reporting that the Eagles wanted to be fair when moving him to a team with a chance to win but I don't see how you can sign off on seeing the guy twice a season.

Anyway, I do not fear the Eagles this season with this move as a Giants fan. 'Skins games will certainly be more interesting now.

Schefter reporting the Rams traded Adam Carricker to the Redskins for only a swap of their 5th round picks. That's a steal and may also be a sign that Haynesworth is being traded.

Been awhile since I've seen the Skins on the good side of a 42-17 win, even if it is Preseason game #1.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the season. It's amazing what competent leadership can do.

This is my first summer back here since '03, but my dad said that the 'Skins wanted the city to build a $2 million dollar facility and the city refused, so they haven't been back for a couple of years.

That sounds vaguely familiar from conversations with my dad, but he says the Pilot isn't worth a damn anymore and never has anything to tell me that I haven't read already.

It wasn't pretty, but it's more wins then they had last year, in the division and it's always fun beating the Cowboys.

    Redskins 1-0 (1-0 in Division)
    Giants 1-0 (0-0 in Division)
    Eagles 0-1 (0-0 in Division)
    Cowboys 0-1 (0-1 in Division)
