Good point. Raef has to win immunity to keep going. Danni is the biggest physical threat to Stephenie.

My roommate has been saying Cindy since day one. She has flown completely under the radar. And hasn't pissed anyone off yet.

That would've been a nice reward to get to spend a night with a loved one and that had to have been tough on Judd to have to chose. Giving the first one to Cindy was probably a no brainer since she helped him with the money. (BTW, Mindy obviously got the bod/looks). But the 2nd choice would've been tough. So do you guys think there was any "jungle love" going on for Judd and Steph?

Cindy didn't vote against Judd, so a Cindy/Danni final could be intriguing.

Is Steph doesn't win immunity this week they should unite and vote out the one contestant who was there previously. I would love to see her sent packing when she is thisclose to the money.

Steph has behaved poorly this season. What a disappointment. The one thing that helps her and could take her further in the game is that they might think she won't get votes in the end as she was there before. I wouldn't even want to see her get the 100k.

The women could also choose to stick together and boot Rafe if he doesn't win immunity, but Danni and Rafe are close so she might want to keep him around until the end.

Judd's exit was one of the funniest things I have seen. I still laugh thinking about it this week. And he has a lot more to come. Count on it.

I am still pulling for Danni. I wouldn't mind Cindy winning and the fact that she didn't vote for Judd could definitely help her. I felt a little bad for her last week when they didn't clue her in on what was going one. I just can't see Judd voting for Steph, Rafe or Lydia now. This should be a good finish.

I like to see Danni or Cindy winning. It will be a good fight to the finish.

    It's everyone for themselves.

    Re: Survivor: Guatemala Thread

Week 13 - InGame Play By Play 1st Period

Crowd filing inside the Reality TV Arena...

This is gonna be good!! Can't wait to hear what they say after TC

A anti-Steph fan in the upperdeck wired for sound: Next on the "who we hate" list I'd like to see gone is Steph. It's her time to go.

    Crowd chanting: LET'S GO DANNI!

A peanut vendor: She's the only one I can get emotionally invested in at this point.

Soundbyte of the week: Hope you guys all get eaten by a freakin’ crocodile, scumbags.

Another Danni fan in the front row: I hope Steph gets eaten by a crocodile! Either that, or Danni does a backflip and Pele kicks Steph in the jaw!

I am hoping for the "demise" of Stephenie tonight. She's had her shot(s). Ultimately, I will be happy if either Rafe or Danni won. I like Rafe better, but Danni has kept on plugging even with some bad luck breaks, and was great at turning everyone on Judd, so I wouldn't mind her winning. I don't think Lydia or Cindy deserve it, so I don't want either to win.

    Augh! Those MONKEYS again.

I love Danni! She's the only one on that island that I'd like to have a beer with. Hope Cindy is kicked out this week - to me she is a big nothing, like day-old lukewarm oatmeal.

So... is Danni now technically a swing vote between the mini-alliances of Rafe/Steph and the two "outcasts" Cindy and Lydia (who despite being on the outs I don't think much like each other)?

Ooooh, Lydia was on the chopping block according to Cindy She
says:"next thing you know, I'll be gone". Well, I wouldn't mind!!

Oohh, Cindy's pissed but isn't raising her voice much about it. Good for her for keeping her head together because that could have been ugly. Crowd chanting: what was that?

Cindy's not happy that Queen Steph didn't share her plans...I wouldn't bitch too much, Cindy.

    Rafe's Angels?

All Estrogen all the time! Including Rafe!

Hmm, never picked up on what Cindy's saying (with Judd not knowing about Jamie, and her not knowing about Judd). Nice to see it makes her feel confident And frankly, I don't think Rafe is very good at lying to someone's face. He needs to leave that to Steph.

Ugh, naked Judd. Thanks for the reminder Rafe

The cool kid? Yeah, that's Judd. More like the school bully.

Oh how sad, so starved for entertainment, they're showing off their eye crossing abilities.

Gentle type of male? Does that equal a gay male?

Lydia: Rafe is a gentle type of male, and we are looking on him as one of the girls.

    Would Rafe appreciate that?

A Lydia fan in the skybox: Lydia's "we thing of him as one of the girls (Rafe)" just made me spit out my water!

Stephanie has never had her own car??????????

Wow. If Rafe was capable of being emasculated, having Lydia's regard is certainly one route to that happening.

Man, every damn show Lyds seems more and more pathetic.

Isn't it too early for the RC?

Steph is in desperate need of a car. She's in desperate need of making it to the jury. She's in desperate need to win immunity. She's in desperate need to be eaten by a crocodile.

I love how Steph snatched the key from Cindy's hand. Pff.

A Lydia fan outside the Reality TV Arena: I kind of hope Lydia wins the car. I don't know why. The car winner rarely wins the million dollars, either. So maybe it would be better for Steph to win.

Well hopefully who wins the car, wins enough money to put gas in it.

What a stupidly overly complicated contest! Do they do this simply so they can lay lots of unnecessary platforms and tracks across the jungle?

RUM!!! I would be playing my heart out for that

Mmm. I want the barbecue feast.

    Danni needs the steak dinner.

They must keep that bag on their backs, otherwise they lose balance.

Week 13 - InGame Play By Play 2nd Period

    Crowd: Steph falls.
    Na Na Na Na
    Na Na Na Na
    Hey Hey Hey
    Good Bye.

Danni is the only one with any balance.

    Has Lydia ever won anything?

DANGIT - Steph made it! Some of the crowd booing Steph.

Neither one of those deserves a dead worm, let alone a car.

I don't see either Steph or Cindy giving up their car for the others.

A beer vendor in the lower bowl seats: Steph and Cindy in the final.
Steph will be gunning for Cindy if Cindy wins.

Steph just did Danni a favor knocking her out and none of them know it yet

I don't care who wins this, this is not for immunity. Although depriving Steph of the meal would perhaps help eliminate her.

Cindy wins. She gets the car.

Steph will never win a battle of brains, that's for sure. That's always her downfall.

    Steph edged out again.

I'd give up the cars myself. Makes the most sense strategically.

A Cindy fan in the skybox: Yay Cindy! Now she gets the sucky decision of keeping her car of giving one to everyone else.

Jeff giving her the option to give up the car.
If she does the rest of them will all get one.
    DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!

Give it up Cindy and you know they will not vote you off!

    Just give Steph one.

No way would I give up my car so they could get one.

A Survivor fan in press row: Screw 'em Cindy...keep the car.

The Curse of the Car?!?! LOL! Crowd chants: holy sh*t!

Did Steph LET her win? Based on the idea that they were willing to ditch her anyway, so she might as well win a car?

    Cindy keeps the car.

You can just tell Steph will want to make her pay for not giving her a car.

Has anyone taken Lydia on a RC?

Not liking Cindy's speech when deciding what to do. I did like her politically correct choice to go with her.

Steph freeloads on yet ANOTHER reward. The plotting will begin now!!

I wouldn't want to be Cindy right now. Come on, no one would have given that up.

Now curiousity has the best of me as to whether or not the other four would have lost if Cindy gave up her car for them. I guess that would really prove if there was a curse of the car

There's no "curse" per se--merely human nature. People are jealous and/or use the car as a strategic justification to ditch people. It has nothing to do with anything magical or superstitous.

Stephenie gets another meal. I hope they smuggle some food back to the others.

I guess for Cindy this is good. Get Stephenie on her side -- maybe.

There is zero chance that if Steph won she would have given it up or either one of the others left. Although they will now each say that they'd have done it, of course.

Now Rafe/Danni/Lydia need to strategize and vote off Steph. Lydia will, but it will be hard to convice Rafe.

I think Rafe is too the point where he realizes alliances need to change. Steph and Cindy beat him out for this one. Everyone might be looking at Lydia now as the one they want to take to Final 2.

Come on Cindy. Be honest. You took the car because you think they are going to dump you anyway and you want to leave with SOMETHING.

On the other hand, this will now give Lydia and Rafe ammo to bitch about you with. And there might have been at least a pretense of gratitude otherwise--Lydia might have been ditched this week instead of you on the premise that she finally won something and can now leave and stop annoying the rest of the tribe.

Funny. It's like the show was glad those cars got "abandoned", they were so ready with that commercial. I wonder if the alternative commercial might have been for just HER one car?

Steph whispered to Cindy she would have kept the car.

I wonder whether they were pulling a fast one like they did during season 6.
Matthew gave up the chance to spend time with his mother when he won reward so everyone else could spend time with their family members and they ended up giving him a night away from the camp with him mum anyway.

A Reality TV analyst: Did Cindy not learn a thing when she went with Judd and Steph on the last reward challenge? Never leave them behind to plot! She deserves whatever happens to her

Great...yet more footage coming of Steph stuffing her face.

Cindy can't really believe Steph is happy for her! Come on...

Are they all so afraid of Steph that they feel they HAVE to take her on all rewards?

Zookeepers don't drive cars? They sure as hell don't ride an elephant everywhere they go.

How did this poor guy get stuck with this job? These two idiots are not interested in anything historical.

Sorry but personally I would not be jealous of someone winning a car, just think of the taxes on it. No thanks.

A Rafe fan in the upperdeck: Gosh I was hoping Stephanie would win. I wanted her to win so that hopefully those people would WAKE UP and send her butt packing!!!!!

Ah, here comes all the holier-than-thou lying: "I would have done it in a heartbeat."

Cindy was screwed the minute she won. If she takes the car, they vote her off. If she gives them all a car, they vote her off because who wants to sit in F2 with someone that has the gratitude of 3 people before questions even start?

Nah.. it's always been one. Ian took Tom, Rob took Amber, etc.

Oh yeah. They are getting miffed. Excellent. Crowd chanting: holy sh*t!

    Re: Survivor: Guatemala Thread

Week 13 - InGame Play By Play 3rd Period

If anything, this does at least make Cindy a better F2 partner.

Maybe. But at this point they have to balance the idea of bringing a "damaged" final two partner against safely getting to that point.

Lydia, I think, continues to be the ideal F2 partner, but I don't think any of them see it. Lydia, it can be so easily argued, did nothing (except cook) for the tribe or to be where she is in the game. That works great as a F2 argument about why she shouldn't be given the prize.

I suppose someone like Rafe might think he'd win against Danni in the F2, because he might think his alliance might STILL favor him, even if he backstabbed them. But Lydia could be his puppet girl too.

If Danni really IS the target, maybe she wins immunity? Then again, Steph might actually have been lying to her, like I said.

Lydia, once more, seems to be bitching out of one side of her mouth and kissing up with the other ("you have a nice new smelling caaaaaar...")

Rafe just told who he is planning on voting out...Cindy

The archeologist is giving them lots of info.
What's the betting it'll be a "Know you Mayan culture" IC?

I'm calling b.s. on the three losers saying they would give the car away. Crowd chanting: holy sh*t!

Cindy is rude, she is more concerned about the "car" than the history of the place.

Hey airheads - what about LYDIA?!?!?!?

Oh gosh, surely to god Lydia isn't that stupid.

Okay. Steph is lying to Cindy. I'm pretty sure she has no intention of sticking by what she's saying now.

Steph is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Damn Steph can eat and talk at the same time. When does she breathe?

Steph would "like" to take Rafe to the final four, but automatically includes Lydia.

Cindy (and Steph) thinks Steph is running things and deciding boot orders. Little does she know that's far from the truth. Hopefully she finds out otherwise this TC

So it looks like the typical decoy plot. Steph tries to assure Cindy she's safe and that they'll target Danni and try to get Rafe in on the plot.

The archeologist is totally wasted on these two dim bulbs. Steph wanting to know if the Mayan ate the corn all the time...

A Steph fan in the Reality TV bar: I will be absolutely shocked if Cindy is not voted out tonight.

Wow, Cindi doesn't know when to shut up, does she?

Doesn't look like Steph or Cindy brought any food back.

Cindy... stop talking about the car.

GM is so loving her talk about that car.

Wow, Rafe lookes pissed off that Cindy is talking about the car.

Yeah, I think Cindy is going tonight. She's been getting a lot of facetime this episode.

Oh my gosh, she's SO stupid at reading people.

Earth to Cindy...SHUT UP ABOUT THE CAR! Stupid, stupid, stupid has she not learned yet not to brag about ANY reward you get?? Don't talk about the food, the car, or any other goodies you might have won or your death sentence is signed. Crowd chanting: SHUT THE F UP to Cindy.

    Oh, poor oblivious Cindy.

Yeah right Cindy....read the body language

    Cindy - are you blind?
These people are not stoked for you? Crowd chanting: no sh*t!

Cindy is really really dense if she believes everyone was excited to hear about her car. Shut up already, you are putting a big bullseye on your back.

A Cindy fan in the front row: Do these people not have freakin cars at home? I'm sick of Rafe whining...of course Cindy's excited. Get over it.

That look from Danni, she gave Cindy :

"Keep digging the hole, your helping me alot "

Cindy sounds like a female Forrest Gump.

What's with the patchiness around Steph's mouth??? ICK!

Okay, Steph WASN'T lying to Cindy. Good lord. Doesn't she realize that someone always resents the car? Why is this concept strange to her?
    She's a dumb as a rock.

I think like Rafe in the whole gifting of the car.
Probably the reason why I would never be good at survivor and Rafe will not win.

A Steph fan in the Reality TV Bar: Rafe is such a whiny girl - shut the he$% up!!

I think this challenge benefits Danni since she has long legs.

I think this one will be funny. If you misjudge your rope and run for the pole --WHAP! face first on the ground.

Well we all know it won't be Lydia winning IC (as usual)

I was never a fan of Morgan or Brianna but I would have much rather seen either of them here than Lydia. She's about as bad as Lill and Scout.

Haha, wouldn't it be funny if Cindy won immunity.

Even funnier if it were Lydia. Funny as in odd, that is.

    Wow, Steph might actually win!

Steph finally wins immunity. Now we get to see if they're dumb enough to vote out Cindy.

Crowd boos at Steph. Crowd chanting: LET'S GO STEPH! LET'S GO DANNI!

    Re: Survivor: Guatemala Thread

Week 13 - InGame Play By Play Inside Tribal Council

Steph: "Finally I won something." Uhhh... I certainly hope she was only referring to Immunity.

After 50 million tries Steph finally meets a challenge that is not beyond her and wins individual immunity, poor baby. Give her a car! She deserves it!

Jeff "Is this your FIRST individual win?!?!!?"
    Why, yes it is.

Pretty unethusiastic clapping and cheering from the non winners. So two spoilers proved correct, let's see if the spoiler of who gets booted holds up.

Cindy was right behind Steph in this one. I figure they'll count her the most threat and vote her out, never mind what Steph said to Cindy. Steph indicated she thinks of herself first (would never even consider giving cars to the others), and I think she'll see Cindy as a bigger threat than Danni.

    Hmm.

Assuming Rafe sticks to what he's saying...

    Rafe - votes Cindy
    Steph - votes Danni... maybe
Lydia - who the hell knows. She's hardly predicitable
    Danni- votes Cindy

So it's a tie if they don't "agree" beforehand. Either that or a pissing contest between Rafe and Steph, or {gasp} they leave it all up to Lydia.

Yes, despite what anyone might be saying Danni MIGHT go. But something feels off. Rafe, for one thing, doesn't really think it's about a car. I think he's maybe just tired of Steph calling all of the shots. (okay, maybe he DOES feel angry about that darn car--I mean he's going on about it in interviews as well as to the other players...)

Think of this though. If Steph REALLY was pulling for Cindy she could have let her win. And she didn't.

I don't think we were shown enough of the camp, I think the Cindy boot was decided by the 3 and they are not going to tell Steph. Now that would really hack her off.

Rafe is swearing up and down to Danni. He's a moron. Doesn't he know that swearing up and down that you won't vote for someone pretty much guarantees that you'll have to do just that?

Does Rafe really believe that Danni will keep her promise and take him to the final 2? I doubt she will.

Steph already looks worse. And I don't know if it's smart to talk about the votes you will/won't be getting. They don't need her; Danni/Rafe/Lydia are enough. Why isn't he smart enough to realize that?

I really don't care who goes. Just don't let it be Danni.

Why is Rafe talking to Steph and not Lydia?

Pssh, Steph finally acknowledged that she's not going to be getting any votes if she's in the F2.

Rafe is really playing on Steph's insecurities. Good for him

    Oh crap. She's telling Cindi.

Apparently, no one cares how Lydia is going to vote . . .

Steph dont lie you know what is going to happen....you are going to vote off Cindy

Why do they never discuss voting Lydia out? It's like she doesn't exist or something.

That's a good question. Everyone else always gets brought up. Maybe because she's so much of a sheep.

    Ah... the magic phrase...

"she has a car at least..."

    THAT'S the real curse.

They are totally avoiding a confab with Lydia. Which means she is with Rafe and Danni

Nah Cindy is going home...I can just feel it.

A female Survivor fan in the skybox: What the hell is Steph doing walking around with that immunity necklace like that?

I actually don't mind if they get rid of the last guy, for once a totally female F4, would be cool.

Steph and Cindy are working Danni for a vote against Rafe. I really hope Danni tells Rafe and the two of them plus Lydia vote off Danni.

Judd looks kind of goofy with no beard.

Wow. Turning on Rafe? Now the time for Danni to stop being so honorable, I guess. Would I blame her? Come on.

    No.

It all hinges on useless Lydia, I guess. If she still intended to vote for Cindy, it wouldn't matter what Steph and Cindy SEEM to be plotting.

    Re: Survivor: Guatemala Thread

Week 13 - InGame Play By Play The Tribe Has Spoken

Yup, that's it. Cindy's going home. They are letting her talk too much.

A Steph fan in the upperdeck: Rafe looks miffed. I kind of wish he would go. An all guy jury and all female final 4 would be sweet

Voting with the tribe. Tell us something we don't know Lydi

Lydia the all purpose doormat is voting with the tribe because she's a lemming.

And there goes Cindy, cursed by the car!

    Danni saves her ass again.

Judd loves Cindy's spiteful little message.

Yes! Steph is so not calling the shots anymore.

Wow. Lydia's little bye bye voting speech sounded so insincere. How does she do that? With so few words?

Buh bye, Cindy! Enjoy yer new car! Talk about it endlessly to the rest of the jury!

    Danni made it!

Curse of the Car Cindy! Buh Bye!

Cindy: "I'll think about you guys as I look through the sun roof of my new car."

Rafe was happy with the vote, I bet he thought Cindy voted against him. I bet he wished he could take the happy face back knowing now it was Steph that voted against him.

Win car => Get lots of airtime => Get voted out => Make idiotic speech about cars and sunshine => See if anyone cares that you're gone.

Another highly illogical decision that's not surprising. It should be obvious to Steph and Lydia they can't trust Rafe. This could potentially be huge, as I believe Rafe and Danni actually will have each others' backs to the end.

A Steph fan in the luxury suite: *totally random observation ahead* How are Rafe's glasses so clean looking? Heck, after a shift at work my lenses are covered in all manner of gook and he's in the jungle with nothing but an icky shirt that he's wearing to wipe them on? They must clean 'em up right before TC so you can see his eyes better during the questioning.

Well sadly the boot picks for tonight were correct and I'm stuck wishing that maybe that crocodile will show up between now and Sunday night and eat Steph. *sigh*

Curse of the stupid players, is what I call it. The only person who should ever try to win a car on this show would be someone who KNEW they were going. And obviously Cindy still had some doubts.

Of course her little confab with the others against Rafe may have lasted like... five seconds, with unseen footage where one of the others immediately went and told Rafe.

Human nature--people will pick on anything you give them to. Either unintentionally, or as intentional leverage. So you don't give it to them.

Zoo girl talks about nature. By zoo girl!

Week 13 - Post Tribal Council Aftermath

Cindy rambles about her new car, blah, blah, blah. And now she's gone.

As for the finale, I think Danni will win.
Lydia is just completely useless and is an outsider. Steph won't make it to the Final 2, IMO, because of her whininess. I don't think Rafe will win either.

Rafe has been calling the shots for the past two weeks. He made the push to get rid of Judd, capatalizing on Danni's desperation and Lydia's frustration with Steph. And again tonight he had enough votes to send Cindy packing and I think Steph knew that and voted with the tribe.

Danni has no incentive to take Rafe to F2. Strategically it makes no sense for her. She'd be wise to take Steph the goat, who herself admits she'll now have 3 people on the jury against her (with Cindy's boot) Plus Danni knows she's got BJ and Gary's vote already.

    Some thoughts

1)Cindy, its called a key, you put it in the hole and twist it. No need to take 8 minutes to unlock 1 lock

2)Stephenie's first win in 2 seasons of Survivor, officially making her perhaps the biggest loser ever

Another catty comment by the person being voted out. The final tribal council could be interesting although it will be painful listening to some of the jury members ask their questions.

A part of me is hoping Steph makes the Final 2 just to hear Judd, Jamie and Cindy crucify her.

It won't be the same with a Danni/Lydia final 2 though. It would take out all the fun.

I'm guessing Lydia is next out and then the person after that is contingent on who wins immunity.

Cindy could either keep the car for herself or give everyone else a car, and not get one for herself. Probst talked about the "car curse" and how no one who won a car has ever won the game.
    I'm rooting for Danni!

Thanks!! I am glad Cindy kept the car.

I am pulling for Danni as well. I thought Rafe was a little selfish tonight. I saw him commenting how he would have done the opposite of Cindy which could be true or it could be sour grapes. At least Steph was honest in saying she too would have kept the car. It was a really nice one.

Rafe definitely made a "heel" turn as BB and I would say. Steph has the target on her back. She has to run the table. If Danni can Survive the first tribal council on Sunday, she has a great shot. Yes, Cindy should keep the car. There are no guarantees.

Wonder why Judd was happy with the vote. He must have no clue Cindy was the one that didn't turn on him, but he will find out soon enough.

I see Danni and Rafe going to the final two. Lydia is bound to be voted off, I don't know how she made it this far. Once Steph loses Immunity, she is gone.

I was hoping Steph didn't win imunity tonight and was booted out on her butt. Rafe needs to follow her right on out the door.

I am so pulling for Danni to win the whole thing. And if Lydia goes to the end I am okay with that as well. I prefer the two of them to Steph and Rafe. It will be interesting to see how Danni and Rafe's alliance plays out.

I thought Judd was happy she won the car and then gave them a dig on her way out. He probably knew within two seconds of them getting together that she didn't vote for him. I bet he will ibe very surprised initially, but he will believe her. Steph and Rafe just shot themselves in the foot once again. I hope it costs them both in the end.

True. It was Cindy's version of "I hope you get bit by a croc" speech. Lydia could win this thing. The only way she is getting there is if someone takes her to the final two.

Reagardless, this has been a well-played Survivor. We go into the final four with no clear cut winner, unlike last season where it was Tom's to lose. This jury could be very interesting. Judd had better deliver some entertainment for us this Sunday.

I know what Judd will say right after Jeff announces the winner...he takes a sledgehammer, bashes everyone, and takes the money.

Then Jamie gathers himself up and beats up Bobby Jon and then Gary throws a hard spiral that breaks Judd's nose.

I agree with all points. This season is so unpredictable. Lydia has a 1,000,000 to 1 odds of winning it all on Sunday. Steph has a huge target on her back. She has never made it this far.

    I pick Danni to win.

Cindy told them that she will think of them as she's looking at the stars through the moon roof of her new car.

At this point I don't see how Steph can win it. Cindy and Judd are definitely not voting for her and I don't think more than one or two of the others would.

Probst is far and away the best reality host there is right now. He always knows the right questions to ask and the right buttons to push at the challenges and tribal councils.

On a side note, is he still going out with Julie who was on Survivor Panama? She has to be one of the hottest survivors ever.

Actually Julie was from Season 9 - Survivor Vanuatu.

    More thoughts:

If I were Cindy, I would have given everyone else a car. That's basically Individual immunity for the next 2 TC's + 3 jury votes if you play your cards right (vote 4 would be sitting next to you). A million dollars buys a few new cars, plus they usually give the winner a new car with the million.

Agreed. I think the car giveaway could have been a great guilt trip to keep people from voting me out.
