Well I wouldn't have been searching his "change purse" either but I woulda checked his pockets at least. :lol

Has Haywire even been shown this season? They've got everybody in Utah (or nearby) except for that doofus.

I am still watching that one, but every week I swear it's the last episode I'll watch. Then something happens, and I'm like "I've gotta see how this turns out." I hope it doesn't turn into another X-Files mess that never goes anywhere.

I watched three episodes and felt the story was going nowhere. It just never really progressed along so I stopped watching it. Plus, the acting in the show is so bad it makes it almost unbearable to watch.

Oh, BTW. Does anybody know what the schedule for the show is going to be like this year? I'm pretty sure all Fox shows take a break in October because of the baseball playoffs. I hated the long ass break of like 4 months or whatever last year. Plus, I know all scheduling gets screwed up when AI and 24 come back. Someone told me it's going to be done in December but I don't see how that's possible.

I was wondering that myself. Fox has a sh*tload of new 1 hour dramas this year. Inevitabely some will fail, but it's still a lot of shows to move around for the ridiculous 3 nights of American Idol a week.

I'm sure Prison Break is safe from being cancelled mid-season, but I'm digging that Vanished show. I hope it sticks around.

Has anyone been watching? This thread died down in the past 2 weeks...

Last nights episode was the most "thrilling" ofthe new season, IMO. Tweener played Mahone nicely, although he did pay the ultimate price.

I really thought Sara was going to be framed for her father's death in some way although now she's in her own bit of trouble.

    Re: Prison Break

I hope Linc realizes that LJ's release is a trap. It seems possible that he'd overlook it to get in contact with LJ.

Sucre is an idiot for keeping that cop's gag off her. He kept telling her to shut up. I don't know why he didn't put the thing back over her mouth.

I wonder what the numbers in the paper swans Sarah keeps getting are going to represent. It's got to have a date, time, and maybe location (long./lat.) if he is trying to get her to meet him, but you can't fit that much info in a 10 digit "phone number".

Unless, the numbers are progressing in some sort of pattern and from that she will be able to figure out the real phone number on which she can reach him. I haven't paid close enough attention to the numbers inside to figure anything out.

I think it's a pattern for the real phone number. Last week she held up both numbers, the last 4 digits of teh 1st were something like 4224 and the last 4 digits of the 2nd were something like 8448 (not the actual #'s but that was kinda the pattern)

I caught something in last night's show that got me thinking. Fichtner's character, whose name escapes me, said something right before he killed the tweener. ". . . because I don't have anything against you, but they do."

Who's "they"? It wouldn't make sense if it was just the other escapees, maybe he's working for the president. Or maybe i'm just reading into it too much.

Maybe "they" are the poeple who have been or will be killed by the escapees whose blood will be on Tweeners conscience? Or maybe just the gang themselves, they certainly didn't care about him, not sure if they had anything against him.

What i don't get at this point is how the gang is planning on getting away form the house with no car at all (Aside form the fact that Sucre freaked out). Are they going to steal the police car or something? I thought Michael would find some way to get that guys car when he came to pick up the MILF to "take her to the club"

Well, the girl cop's car is still there... Might be a tad risky to escape in a cop car, but it is an option...

I honestly think that Sucre's freak out was planned by him and Michael as a way to meet up later with Sucre having the money allowing them to split off from C-Note and T-Bag...

Didn't think of that. It's very possible.

What is that freaky guy's name who thinks his raft is getting him from Lake Michigan to the windmills in Holland? That part with him and the dog on the beach was hilarious.

I had this thought, too. The "previews" for the next show show him and Sucre meeting in the woods somewhere/somehow and Michael says to him "adios, amigos, huh?".

Linc is an idiot for not seeing that trap w/ LJ. Michael, too.

One thing that bothers me is the age of those bills. You basically cannot use anything but the new style 100's outside the U.S. because both banks and black-market money changers are concerned about counterfeits. (I know, because I spend half my time in South America.) Inside the U.S., all banks have been presumably been alerted by the Feds to seize any bills in this series....and old bills really stand out. Is this just a 'suspend reality' thing, or will it pop up as a plot element later on?

The dots are a numbered code and the numbers given are the key. The pattern to the dots is:
    dots (message): ... .. .. . .. .... ... ... .. ....
The numbers given in the next message were:
    numbers (key): 7363398687

Using T/9 on your cellphone to type a text message:

    7 (3 times) / 3 dots, number 7 = R
    3 (2 times) / 2 dots, number 3 = E
    6 (2 times) / 2 dots, number 6 = N
and so on, and you'll get (ta-da) : "rendezvous"

doing the same thing on the next messages:
    7863696468 and .... .. .. . ... . .. .. ... .
you'll get (or should get): “sundownhot"

sundownhot possibly could be Sun Down Hotel?

Some one explained this to me elsewhere, so I'm not going to take credit for figuring it out. Schofield is very clever, isn't he?

Well, it's definitely different. To me, one of the best parts of season one was seeing Michaels plan unfold, even when he had to seemingly improvise, he seemed to have thought of every possible scenario.
This season doesn't appear to be that way (although maybe it is!) and it seems like the gang is confronted with imminent capture evry episode (duh!).
One of the most interesting plots so far has been the conspiracy angle with the governor and Sarah et. al.

I saw that coming but did not see T-Bag getting away with it.

So now the scumbag CO's are chasing the psycho with $5 million. Who are we supposed to root for?

Definitely did not see the T-Bag angle coming. I thought the whole episode was very interesting and the scenes for next week seem awesome. Especially Michael calling Mahone.
Why do you all think the Sescret Service wants them all dead?
I still feel like they're all connected and Michael is the only one that really knows (aside from the gov't)

Woohoo, i was right. But like mentalgidget said, why would they want all of 'em dead? The only reason I could think of is that he might have told them everything. Which is lame.

NO disrepect intended but COME ON!! were you talking to Wentworth Miller, an executive producer? What's the deal?!

I do like how Sara has 2/3 of the puzzle as does the Secret Service agent.
I have a weird feeling that somewhere along the line, he's going to betray the government. He's been getting crapped on for a while now and i feel like he's just not gonna take it much longer

I figured it out pretty quickly. He couldn't make it that hard. Evryone uses text messages today so it is pretty natural.

    Anyone? ANyone?
Last night was a very good episode. Kind of shocked that Linc and AJ got nabbed...

What will come of Michaels new found knowledge of Mahones skeleton in the closet... err... the ground?

How will Lincs "capture" affect the "they all die" decree from Kellerman to Mahone?

How can the ex-wife of the lead FBI investigator not recognize the ringleader of the group he's trying to catch?

Next week will be great with Sara and Micheal meeting up in New Mexico

    Re: Prison Break

Last night was really good. I can't believe Linc gets caught- the whole point of the escape in the first place. It should be interesting to see Michael's reaction when he hears that.

The ex-wife (sheila from Rescue Me!) not recognizing Michael was a huge flaw in the plot. Joe Schmo at the train station recognizes Linc but the ex-wife of the guy leading the hunt doesn't recognize Michael while he's in her home looking her face-to-face.

C-Note looked lost when his wife asked what they are going to do now. I don't think he thought too far in advance.

I thought last nights episode was the best one yet this season. I like that Michael has blackmail now. That's great.

    I completely agree.

One thing that has disappointed me this season is lack of attention to the conspiracy angle they had going last year. I really liked that. Maybe now that Linc is caught they will get back to that again.

The woman playing the VP (Patricia Wettig) is now a regular on abc's Brothers & Sisters. I can't imagine she would be appearing much more on a Fox show.

Oh yeah, if T-Bag gets away again I'm going to be pissed. I'm so glad he's finally getting his. Being prison guards I can't believe that searching his body wasn't the one of the first things they did to him.

I think that's the road they're going to go down. I heard a tag line last week thats aid something like "sometimes the best plan of escape is to stay and fight" or something along tjose lines.
At this point they have no money thanks to T-bag, Mahone knows the whole plan, and Linc is in custody. Panama seems pretty much out of the question.

Will Lnc being back in custody start the clock on his execution again?

I just hope that he doesn't escape this custody through some flukey situation like beating up the cops or something crazy. Perhaps Michael uses the blacmail to get Linc "released"

    Hmm....

Sounds like a situaiton similar to Audrey from 24 being on The Nine.

I really liked the whole thing with their father being the mysterious character. I want to find out more about that. If they kill the conspiracy they kill that character.

I think they're all gonna end up back in jail or dead so the lesson is to NOT break out of jail.

Michael should have made an anonymous phone call as soon as Mahone didn't take the deal. Now the dude's done dug up the bones.

They've got to get back to the conspiracy plot now that Linc has been caught.

And yes, the ex-wife not recognizing Scofield - not believable.

Mahone dug up the guy. I think Mike's plan might be foiled. Unless Michael makes Mahone get Linc & LJ out of custody though blackmail.

As far as Sucre's story, his girlfriend is not Frannie on The Nine so I don't know how they're gonna finish his storyline.

They already covered themselves on that one. When Michael was on the phone with Mahone he said something about how his DNA will stay in the dirt unless he was all wrapped up and then we saw the arm, unwrapped laying in the dirt.

Lots of people seem to be in two shows this year (including another one on The Nine -- I forget her character's name, but Kim Raver who plays Audrey Raines on 24). So, I think they'll be able to work around it. It's not like she'd have to be in tons of scenes on PB, so they can probably make it work. Plus, isn't PB about to go on hiatus for a while?

It seems like it's mostly abc adn Fox switching actors. A little wierd to me but maybe the two networks worked something out.

I really like The Nine. It started off a bit slow but is better with each show, imo.

I think ABC probably called their agents and said "would you like to be one of the main characters on our show instead of a secondary one on that silly Fox show?" That's probably what happened.

The Nine is the best new show of the season.
