Schweizer or Schweitzman was the toilet manufacturer

    Allen was allen wrench

The # was the type of screw that had the appropriate size to be turned into the correct allen wrench for the toilet.

(Of course, how he any leverage whatsoever to turn the screw with the makeshift allen wrench is unclear )

Insulin shock ain't no picnic, though. Unless he's gonna have enough sugar pills to offset every one he gets.

There's no way they would have a moderately attractive nurse like that be alone with prisoners.

If the guy is going to have access to all of the architectural plans of the prison, tattoo them all to his body, and purposely commit a crime just to get sent there to break his brother out, why the hell not?

I can't imagine they would be. I didn't see the whole episode but what I did see of it it looked like he had it planned out pretty well and knew what he was doing.

Just like in 24, how you never see the little things, such as Jack picking up more ammo, Jack eating, Jack going to the bathroom, Jack etc, little things like eating sugar cubes were probably omitted, because you assume without it, the story line wouldn't continue(i.e, the dude would be dead from the insulin shots, or something)

The drug he was trying to get is an insulin inhibitor or something like that.

Somebody else may have mentioned this, but how they hell do they plan to make a series out of this? It just seems like more of a movie concept.

It does. It seems they'll just be showing his struggle to get out. They could make the 90 days hes in prison into 3 seasons if they wanted to. Or they could show his life after breaking out, and maybe figuring out why those people want his brother killed. They will find a way(not for our entertainment, but so they can keep it on as long as possible, and make money.)

He's already got his plan in full swing, I don't think they'll be in jail the whole season... I just want to know what happened to the dude's toe..

Dude, the announcer guy with the dramatic voice said something in the previews like "Breaking out is just the beginning."

Previews = scenes from the NEXT episode (Which would have come when you were watching, Brah.)

I don't watch previews! I picked this up watching 24 - - watching the previews would kill me, leaving me in such suspense until the following week. I'm better off just not watching them...

Will this be the last opportunity to see this episode before the next one? I'd like to give this show a chance, but baseball and pre-season football will take precedence over it tonight.

After having watched Oz, this seems like prison drama lite to me... with a little sci-fi-type fun (the breakout concept) thrown in. It's a weird mix. And if the series is successful? Prison Break Season 2: Live from Chechnya?

I think the series will probably do well but I'm not sure that I have the sticking power for it.

I'm thinking if they get out this season that next season will be about them on the run. Who knows? I like the show so far. Fox & FX are really putting on some good shows that have gotten my attention.

He was the crazy Russian cosmonat in Armageddon and the crazy kidnapper in Fargo, the crazy Russian drug lord/club owner in Bad Boys 2, and the crazy snuff porn producer in 8MM...now he's a crazy mobster inmate. See a pattern?

I missed the show last night as I have no cable in my new place yet. Anyone want to PM me a recap? Thanks.

He'll get on board with the plan and the fact that he doesn't sleep will help them get back on schedule.

I see something happening like...Haywire going crazy and getting thrown out of the prison.

Personally, I'd like to see him befriend Haywire. Haywire seems like a neglected person (I mean he is a criminal so I am moderating my sympathy here) where no one even wants to look directly at him, so if Michael can just be his friend, he might be able to get him on his side easily. I'd like that.

Story-wise, though, it'd be a LOT easier for him to transfer out and Sucre to come back. Actually, that makes sense. Sucre will discover that Maricruz is having an affair, won't care anymore about her, and then will try and help Michael.

I actually like last night's episode better than the first two. I think Sucre will discover the affair, but that will make him want to join the escape because he won't want to wait the 16 months until his release to save his relationship.

I have a sinking feeling, based on next week's previews, that Sucre will either be left behind or be killed trying to escape ... I loved his quote "You see these hands?? They'll dig to china if you want me to!!"

Do you guys think the SS really does stuff like they're doing in the show?

BTW, the main character def pulled a jack bauer when he intentionally smashed his head into the jail door.. and I missed the first episode, so it was my first time seeing his full body tattoo.... how stupid does that look?!

It isn't about him getting out. He wouldn't just get thrown in the slammer so he could have the challenge of breaking out. He has to get his brother out (of solitary confinement) and the mob guy too.
