How did Nelson get KO'd by Arlovski? He seems to have a chin of granite.

He fought two guys at once, the ref and Arlovski. Everytime it went to the ground, it was stood up almost immediately. The fight was very fishy, and with the stand up gate that popped up later on, it's safe to say the ref might have been influenced.

I forgot that fight was on the undercard of Slice/Petrazelli. I heard Rogan mention that EliteXC was corrupt but I just figured he was exaggerating.

2 rounds in, Chael up 2-0. I don't know if he can keep this up for 3 more rounds though. Anderson is taking these shots like a champ. He should start round 3 like a buzzsaw and look for the KO, like he did in round 2.

Sonnen up 3-0 after three rounds, I still think it's Silva's fight though. I think he'll catch Sonnen before he gets taken down or he'll submit him from the bottom.

Silva gets a little close at the beginning of each round to finishing it. Both of these guys are taking some massive shots. Regardless of who wins, I would like a re-match.

WTF just happened? I thought sonnen tapped.

Edit: replay shows he did. What a great fight, I assume a rematch will be in order as soon as possible.

Wow, just wow. Chael always finds a way to blow it. Why did he tap? He has to go to sleep there.

Great great great fight. Next time Strikeforce is on CBS, expect this to air on Spike. Can't remember the last time UFC put on back to back PPV's like 116 and 117

    OH man! Called out!

Lol, im glad i got it wrong, i like Hughes a lot, i just didnt think he had anything left in the tank. What an awesome submission, and the commentary on it is even funnier. "An old wrestling move", a "modified anaconda choke?!" Chuck telling Dana (paraphrasing) "that used to be a cheap trick in wrestling where submissions arnt allowed, it doesnt look like youre getting choked out."

    What a Main Event!
Silva earned back some of the respect he lost from me not only with the performance, but by getting on his knees and placing the belt at Sonnen's feet after the fight. After everything Sonnen said it would have been easy for him to throw some back. He obviously respected the first guy whos pushed him to his limit in a long time.

Pretty solid card overall. Pumped for WEC50, Strikeforce Houston, and 118.

    Attention MMA fans:

Zuffa's little brother MMA company, World Extreme Cagefighting, is back on Versus this Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada with WEC 50: Cruz vs. Benavidez 2.

Fresh off his TKO win over Brian Bowles at WEC 47, Dominick Cruz makes his first WEC Bantamweight title defense in a rematch against Joseph Benavidez when Cruz gave Benavidez is first career loss via unanimous decision at WEC 42.

    Fight Card
    Main card

    * Bantamweight Championship bout: Dominick Cruz (c) vs. Joseph Benavidez
    * Lightweight bout: Shane Roller vs. Anthony Pettis
    * Featherweight bout: Cub Swanson vs. Chad Mendes
    * Bantamweight bout: Scott Jorgensen vs. Brad Pickett
    * Lightweight bout: Bart Palaszewski vs. Zach Micklewright

    Preliminary Card

    * Lightweight bout: Anthony Njokuani vs. Maciej Jewtuszko
    * Featherweight bout: Javier Vazquez vs. Mackens Semerzier
    * Lightweight bout: Ricardo Lamas vs. Dave Jansen
    * Featherweight bout: Fredson Paixão vs. Bryan Caraway
    * Lightweight bout: Danny Castillo vs. Dustin Poirier

    Note:
    - Urijah Faber was expected to make his bantamweight debut against Japanese striker Takeya Mizugaki. However, Faber was forced off the card with an injury. As a result Mizugaki was also pulled from the event.
The Faber/Mizugaki bout is expected to simply be pushed back, possibly as early as WEC 52.

    * Lightweight bout: Danny Castillo vs. Dustin Poirier

    Card overview:
World Extreme Cagefighting provides great cards since Zuffa took over and this one is no different.

Will the WEC bantamweight title change hands again? Brian Bowles won the title off Miguel Torres, but lost it in his first defense against Dominick Cruz. Cruz and Joseph Benavidez had fight of the night honors in WEC 42 and are primed to repeat that performance at WEC 50.

Will Shane Roller get his rematch shot against Ben 'Smooth' Henderson for the WEC Lightweight title? He needs a win against Anthony Pettis in order for that to happen.

    BB55's Honor Picks
Fight of the Night: Dominick Cruz vs. Joseph Benavidez
Submission of the Night: Fredson Paixao
Knockout of the Night: Anthony Njokuani

-Danny Castillo def. Dustin Poirier by Unanimous Decision (30-27),(29-28),(30-27).
    WEC 50: Cruz vs Benavidez 2 - Broadway's PostMortem

Once again, World Extreme Cagefighting delivers another great show on Versus.

The WEC Bantamweight title bout between Dominick Cruz and Joseph Benavidez picked up where fight #1 left off that sent the crowd at the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas into a fever pitch.

Benavidez did the most damage on the feet including landed a nice counter shot after Cruz landed a flying knee in Round 1.

However, just like the first fight, Cruz scored critical takedowns to steal rounds.

I had it 4 rounds to 1 for Cruz, 49-46, but if it wasn't for the takedowns, Benavidez was the one landing more effective strikes. His knee in Round 4 on Cruz's nose was brutal.

Another great fight from these two and they got one of my three Fight of the Night honors.

Who's next for Cruz? It could be the one who was involved in my second fight of the fight honor, Scott 'Young Guns' Jorgensen defeating Brad Pickett unanimous decision. I had it 2 rounds to 1 for Jorgensen 29-28 with Pickett landing his shots, but Jorgensen used his wrestling and ground and pound in the final two rounds to take the win.

My third and final Fight of the Night honor? I give it to Anthony Pettis who scored a shock win over Shane Roller. Pettis was very elusive and scrambled nicely to avoid Roller's trademark guillotine choke and even scored some unorthodox kicks including a cartwheel bicycle kick and even beat Roller at his own game with his triangle choke.

Pettis also scored my submission of the night.

Knockout of the Night? I give it to Bart Palaszewski for his right hand stunner on another tough hombre Zach Micklewright. Both Palaszewski and Micklewright showed granite chins in Round 1 until Palaszewski was out cold from a right hand in Round 2. I thought the stoppage from Steve Mazzagatti was good. Micklewright was out on his feet.

Other winners include Maciej Jewtuszko knocking out Anthony Njokuani, Javier Vazquez scored a rear naked choke victory over Mackens Semerzier, Chad Mendes by doormat takedowns over Cub Swanson, Ricardo Lamas and Danny Castillo scored unanimous decision wins and Fredson Paixao edges Bryan Caraway via split.

In all, another great card from the WEC. Can't wait for WEC 51 as Jose Aldo makes another WEC Featherweight title defense against Ultimate Fighter Season 5 alumnus turned WEC rising star Manny Gamburyan, Miguel Torres looking to climb back into the WEC Bantamweight title picture as he takes on Charlie Valencia and the grudge match between 'The Cowboy' Donald Cerrone and former WEC Lightweight champion Jamie 'The Worm' Varner.

    Strikeforce: Houston - Broadway's PostMortem

Well, Strikeforce needed a huge rebound from their disaster in Nashville in their last top flight show, but it bombed again.

First, the terrible refereeing surrounding three fights, one aired on Sherdog.com and the other during the Showtime card.

In the Sherdog.com card, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu dynamo Andre Galvao defeated late replacement Jorge Patino via third round TKO.
Galvao, who had an uninspiring performance, had back control and laid weak sauce ground and pound a la Roy Nelson on Kimbo Slice, and the referee stopped the fight. He didn't do any significant damage. I'm sorry, but Galvao needs work on his all-around MMA game.

Also, KJ Noons vs. Jorge Gurgel. The stoppage reminded me of a UFC 96 fight between Matt Brown and Pete Sell: hesitation by the referee who stepped in and then back away to apply more damage before stepping in and award a TKO victory.

However, it was like the same fight, but it added a grazing illegal knee from Noons on a downed Gurgel.

I also thought Gurgel was crazy to try and trade on the feet with Noons.

Meanwhile, Bobby Lashley pulled a Jamie Yager by quitting on the stool.

He was up two rounds to none and even had full mount on Chad Griggs and can't even finish the fight. Lashley had nothing on his ground and pound at all. Should've just kept using hammer fists. And Lashley's cardio was bad. That restart helped Griggs, but it also screwed Lashley as he was having the full mount on Griggs before the ref restarted.

Still though, Lashley quits. Work on your cardio, Bobby.

Now, to the title fights. The first one was for the Strikeforce Middleweight title between Ronaldo 'Jacare' Souza and Tim Kennedy. It was a nice close, technical, but also boring fight. The crowd at Houston's Toyota Center didn't have much noise to it. Kennedy landed more shots and scored two takedowns, but I thought Jacare did more damage with his strikes and was pushing the fight forward. I had it 49-46 for Jacare. But once again, here's another example of why you shouldn't leave the fight in the hands of the judges because you may never know what the judges are going to do. Props to both Kennedy and Jacare for being classy in their interviews.

As for the Strikeforce Light Heavyweight title, Rafael 'Feijao' Cavalcante defeated Muhammed 'King Mo' Lawal to make it a Brazilian sweep.

Round 1, I give it to Feijao despite King Mo scoring a takedown. Feijao nailed King Mo with some nice strikes from his boxing and Muay Thai. Unlike his fight against Gegard Mousasi, King Mo wasn't able to keep Feijao down. Feijao got up quickly.

Round 2, I give it to King Mo for his takedown, some ground and pound and body shots.

However, it all fell apart for King Mo. Feijao tagged him and even though King Mo came back, he was hurt and wobbly and Feijao piled it on before John McCarthy stopped the fight.

In all, Strikeforce: Houston just didn't give Strikeforce the rebound it needed from their Nashville fiasco. Their big guns (i.e. Fedor Emelianenko and Dan Henderson) and hype machines (i.e. King Mo and Bobby Lashley) lost and they see Jake Shields leave to go to the UFC.

For Scott Coker, he has only one more hand to play and that's Noons vs. Nick Diaz.

Also, I don't know what kool-aid Mauro Ranallo is drinking, but he's nuts. Saying that Griggs upsetting Lashley is a big upset and comparing it to Matt Serra vs. Georges St. Pierre at UFC 69. And saying that Strikeforce has a lot of talent in their middleweight ranks during the Jacare vs. Kennedy fight.

I think Gus Johnson has an energetic and passionate voice, but not much in the clear MMA analysts stage and Frank Shamrock, just stick to training guys.

    What??

Anyway, typical Strikeforce card. The Noons/Gurgel fight was just an embarrassment. While it wasn't intentionally thrown after the bell, Noons should have been docked at least a point and the fight should have been over. Then he KO's him immediately into round 2 and the ref doesn't stop it. Then, when he does stop it, he can't even do it right. Then the announcers can't even decide if the knee was illegal. You got Shamrock not sure, you got Gus Johnson not even sure if the fight is over, you got Mauro with his bad puns, but at least he knew the knee was illegal.

I thought Dana White was going to counter this Strikeforce event with the UFC 117 replay on Spike, but he didn't.

The stoppage between KJ Noons and Jorge Gurgel reminded me of Matt Brown vs. Pete Sell at UFC 96: hesitation by the referee on whether to continue or stop the fight.

As for Mauro Ranallo, he has bad puns and reach comments.

He commented on Chad Griggs's upset on Bobby Lashley by comparing it to Matt Serra's win over GSP at UFC 69. Give me a break.

Then, he rants on Strikeforce's deep middleweight division during the Jacare vs. Tim Kennedy. Um, no. The UFC has a better talented and deeper MW division.

And Mauro, Gus Johnson and Frank Shamrock talking about Gurgel had he beat Noons being the #1 contender for the Strikeforce Lightweight title where he has a 1-1 record since joining Strikeforce and lost to Billy Evangelista in one of the ShoMMA fights. Give me a break.

The Strikeforce commentary team is meh.

I can live with Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan continually saying "this is what the UFC is all about."

Canadian Medical Association calls for ban in MMA
    http://sports.espn.go.com/extra/mma/...ory?id=5495968

    This is really stupid.

First of all, there has been more deaths in boxing than in MMA.

Also, there are more punches thrown and landed on the head in boxing than in MMA and MMA has submissions to go along with knockouts.

And finally, you have a former Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director turned Vice President of Regulatory Affairs with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in Marc Ratner who will regulate MMA and get it sanctioned anywhere.

If the CMA wants to ban MMA, they should ban boxing and pro wrestling too.
    This is ridiculous.

BB55's Picks (Picks are in Bold.)
    Fight card
    MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)
    * Champ Frankie Edgar vs. B.J. Penn (for lightweight title)
    * Randy Couture vs. James Toney
    * Demian Maia vs. Mario Miranda
    * Kenny Florian vs. Gray Maynard
    * Marcus Davis vs. Nate Diaz

    * Nik Lentz vs. Andre Winner

    PRELIMINARY CARD
    * Dan Miller vs. John Salter
    * Nick Osipczak vs. Greg Soto
    * Amilcar Alves vs. Mike Pierce

    Card overview
Well, Frankie Edgar had the answer on BJ Penn the first time around. Will he do it again?

It all depends on BJ Penn's hard work and conditioning the second time around. Also, Edgar's gotta be alert on when Penn's submissions are coming.

If Penn loses, what is his next excuse? Yankeeah called BJ Penn fans the Red Sox fans of MMA. If Penn does lose, he can be right again.

We'll see if six-time boxing heavyweight champion James 'Lights Out' Toney has enough MMA skills to defeat UFC Hall of Famer Randy 'The Nautral' Couture.

Does Toney have what it takes to back up his talk inside the Octagon? He has been training under Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson's former Juanito Ibarra. Also, his cardio comes into question.

For Captain America, Couture at 47 is still in pretty good shape and can take down opponents. However, which Couture stand-up skills will show up? The one who was knocked out by Chuck 'The Iceman' Liddell at UFC 52 and UFC 57 or the one where he picked Tim 'The Maine-iac' Sylvia apart at UFC 68? Randy is gotta watch out for that one major blow because if that connects, he goes to sleep.

Two of Boston's finest MMA fighters showcase their skills in front of the fans at TD Garden.

Both Kenny 'KenFlo' Florian and Gray 'The Bully' Maynard want a shot at the UFC Lightweight title. Maynard has won 7 straight bouts since his no contest bout with Rob Emerson. Florian wants his third shot of the UFC Lightweight crown. Something's gotta give.

It's a battle between two Ultimate Fighter Season 5 alums as Joe 'J-Lau' Lauzon takes on Gabe 'Godzilla' Ruediger.

We all know Gabe won the WEC Lightweight title pre-Zuffa, but we also know Gabe from failing to make weight in TUF5.

Since Dana kicked Gabe out of the UFC, Ruediger went 7-2 in his last 9 bouts including six straight wins.

Now, Gabe gets his second chance in the UFC, but J-Lau doesn't want to lose in front of his fans.

Could be a pretty good UFC debut for Massachusetts this Saturday night.

    UFC 118: Edgar vs. Penn 2 - Broadway's PostMortem

Well, it was all about technique and one-sided affairs in the Ultimate Fighting Championship's debut in Massachusetts from Boston's TD Garden.

UFC Lightweight champion Frankie 'The Answer' Edgar had all the answers again on BJ 'The Prodigy' Penn. Edgar's footwork, quick hands, lateral movements just confused and frustrated BJ and took the crazy Hawaiian down time and time again.

In simpler terms, it was exactly like the first fight in Abu Dhabi back in April. Edgar picked Penn apart.

For Penn, what are his excuses from him, his camp and his fans now? BJ was partying, blah, blah, blah.

For Edgar, he has Ultimate Fighter Season 5 alum Gray 'The Bully' Maynard next.

Maynard outwrestled Kenny 'KenFlo' Florian and stunned the Boston crowd. Even though Florian had submission attempts in the third and final round with omaplata (shoulder lock) chances, it wasn't enough.

That was the 8th straight win for The Bully.

In the early days of the UFC, one of the questions was asked: "Can a wrestler beat a boxer"?

In today's mixed martial arts world, the question was "can a fighter with one style beat a fighter with so many tools"?

Here is the answer. It was no.

It was UFC vs. Boxing, but Yankeeah and Bambino22, two hardcore MMA fans are dancing and laughing at boxing posters Rui and PlsDontTearDownY.S. after former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight champion and UFC Hall of Famer, 'Captain America' Randy 'The Natural' Couture won via submission (arm triangle) over former Heavyweight champion James 'Lights Out' Toney.

Toney was the one who talked tons of smack at Couture's skills, but once they were inside the Octagon, it was Couture who walked the walk.

Couture scored a trip takedown and got full mount on Toney, Toney was in no man's land.

Captain America used his ground and pound and choked the life out of Toney. I thought in the first arm triangle choke from 1/4 guard-full mount, Toney passed out. Toney's arm wasn't moving an inch. Once Randy moved to side mount (side control), Toney tapped out.

Sorry Toney, but you've been choked out and forced to tapout.

So, MMA has the edge on boxing 2-1. Kimbo Slice defeated Ray Mercer via submission. Mercer knocked out Tim Sylvia. Randy Couture forced James Toney to tap.

Let's see if Yankeeah and Bambino22 and Rui and PlsDontTearDownY.S. go at it in the boxing or MMA thread.

Well, there were tons of submissions on the card and I have to give out only one submission of the night honor.

That honor belongs to Dan Miller's anaconda choke on John Salter in the Spike TV broadcast.

Fight of the Night? Even though it was one sided, I give it to Nate Diaz vs. Marcus 'The Irish Hand Grenade' Davis. Diaz used his boxing a la his brother Nick to pick Davis apart and did damage, but Davis showed grit and heart to try to fight back before succumbing to Diaz's gulliotine choke. Davis's right eye was cut, swollen and closed. Davis also gets my Purple Heart Award for his grit and fighting with that battered, bloodied and bruised eye.

    No knockouts on the night.

Other winners include Demian Maia over Mario Miranda via takedown and position blanket with submission attempts.

Joe 'J-Lau' Lauzon denied Gabe 'Godzilla' Ruediger's comeback to the UFC with an armbar win. At least Boston had something to cheer about after a tough day.

Nik Lentz smothered Andre Winner in an another one-side affair. Ditto for Greg Soto on Nick Osipczak.

And Mike Pierce defeated Amilcar Alves via arm lock.

In all, UFC 118 showed eight fights out of 10, but ended either in terrific submissions or one-sided decision affairs. UFC 117 was a better showing in August for Zuffa MMA PPVs. Hopefully, the UFC's next big PPV, UFC 121 with Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez for the UFC Heavyweight title will be better than the technical, but lopsided affairs at UFC 118.

Hey fellow MMA NYYF's, gotta tell you I was at the UFC Fan Expo in Boston last weekend, and it was an awesome experience for sure. Some friends and I drove up and spent the weekend. Amazingly fan friendly, great atmosphere, all the guys were awesome and made time for everybody who came up to them. The UFC really has got it right when it comes to fan relations.

Re: Mixed Martial Arts - UFC, PRIDE FC, etc.

I was catching up on a bunch of fights on DVR yesterday, and I gotta say once again that WEC delivered - WEC 50 was awesome and did not disappoint. I don't really know what most others think of it, but I love that freakin' organization. All of my friends who are MMA fans are pretty much strictly UFC guys...the only time I was able to get some of them rounded up for WEC was the ppv card, WEC 48 (Though it was more to try out Buffalo Wild Wings as a fight venue). 99% of the cards are free and the fights are fast and very rarely boring. The fight I enjoyed the most, Pettis/Roller didn't even get fight of the night. That's how good of a card it was. They've been re-airing it, so check it out if you haven't yet or DVR it.

I also watched Bellator Fighting Championships for the first time. It was interesting. Lots of standing and trading action in the fights from BFC 27. I like the tournament setup that they have going. Another thing I set my DVR to automatic record so I can check it out again at my leisure.

And I also finally got to see an episode of MMA Live on ESPN - I was blown away, it was awesome. I was expecting a crappy recap/analysis show the way all of ESPN's other studio shows have become, but I was way off. It was a host, plus Florian, and Sonnen at the desk. They both gave really good insights and didn't hold anything back. The whole show was discussing UFC 118, and Florian discussed his fight with Maynard. Really good job. I think the schedule is very inconsistent so I don't know when it will be on again...maybe not until around UFC 119 is my guess. It was recorded from Wednesday at 2:30 am.

I watched some Bellator Fighting Championships action and Bellator is another nice supplement in MMA viewing.

I like a few fighters in BFC in Joe Alvarez, Pat Curran and Joe Warren.

    I also like their tournaments.

My DVR is gonna catch on fire from all the MMA I set it for. The only thing I can't get is Strikeforce because I don't have Showtime.

The Shark Fights card featuring UFC vets Jardine, Soukoudjou, Houston Alexander, and Brock Larson....for $29.95? Yikes. Pass.

Great photos. How long was each line to meet the fighters?

    Thanks

For most of the guys I met it wasn't too long (10-20-30 minutes tops), and there were a bunch whose lines I just jumped on because they were very short. I got lucky with Shogun, the one guy I really wanted a photo with, we got on his line as it was forming and most people didn't know who it was for because he hadn't arrived at the table yet.

Forrest and Couture's lines were long. Couture's was the longest I waited on (about an hour), and just before we were getting to the front, he had to get going to the weigh ins over at the arena. So instead of leaving, he got up from his table and starting buzzing down the entire line signing stuff really quickly for as many people as he could. That's why my picture with him looks like it does. I made the most of the wait time however, my friends usually just hung on a line the whole time. I wandered around and got in short lines, then came back to the long line after that.

I only missed out a few times - Rashad Evans, twice....first time I was on his line, but they cut it off and he had to go, or so I thought...he actually had to go to another booth on the other side of the convention center. When I found him by accident over there, they had already cut his line off. The other was Anderson Silva - I didn't know where he was and when we walked passed his table, his line had also already been cut off.

Two lines that were so ridiculously long that I wasn't even going to bother with was Chuck and Tito. Urijah Faber's was insane too. They seemed to be a mile long.

It was an awesome experience and all the fighters and UFC people genuinely appreciate the fans. Two guys I stopped as they were leaving were just as nice, took pictures and signed stuff, Ryan Bader and Buffer.

Hughes v. Penn III is set for UFC 123 on November 20 in Detriot. I wonder if this is a one time thing for BJ or if he's moving to welterweight now.

It's a very confusing fight. Hughes just said he wanted to take time off to hunt. Granted, this is a huge fight and probably $200K+ for Hughes.

Maybe, just maybe they will have Fitch fight BJ if he wins. In that time, Kos or Shields could beat GSP, giving BJ or Fitch someone new to beat.

It's possible. Out of anyone in the 170 division, I think those two have the best chance. Granted, I expect GSP to beat both, but it's possible.

It's possible, but only in the very literal sense of having like a 2% chance of happening possible.

Shields has practically no chance at all. He can't strike, and isn't going to be able to take GSP down.

Koshcheck's wrestling is almost on par with St.Pierre, but he is literally significantly behind in every other aspect of fighting.

There is no real 170lb challenger for St. Pierre at the moment.

Shields has good submissions and can catch GSP.

Koscheck can prevent a takedown and make GSP stand with him. Granted, GSP has more versatile standup, but Koscheck does have very good boxing.

I don't think either wins, but they have a better chance than say Fitch.

GSP's next loss will likely be because he did something stupid.

There is only a limited amount of submissions you can pull off from your back against a black belt grappler like GSP. And that's the only place Shields will be if they grapple, off his own back. Otherwise, GSP will just keep it standing and knock him out.

He went 5 rounds with Henderson, who is a vastly inferior grappler, and couldn't finish him.

As for Koscheck, I wouldn't be so sure about him being able to consistently prevent the takedown. Last time they fought, Kos got taken down in every single round.

GSP thinks Koscheck is the one who wants to go for the takedown anyway. I guess if you go by common opponents (MMATH) things look bad for Koscheck in the striking as well. Koscheck got murdered standing by a roided up Alves. GSP out struck Alves for the limited time that fight was standing.

I agree that Fitch has no chance whatsoever though. He's just not good enough at any one particular thing.

GSP may very well never lose at WW again (I believe that he'll eventually move up permanently to MW).

I agree with you that Shields doesn't win, but out of all the WW's out there he has the second best shot. A strict striker is going to get demolished (GSP/Daley would have resulted in at least 3 10-4 rounds), a strict wrestler (Fitch) is going to get killed on the feet then taken down, but he hasn't fought a strict jits guy. And no, Serra doesn't count.

GSP only took Kos down twice, and Kos took GSP down once. GSP hasn't been taken down since, not even Fitch could. Kos has the best combo of stand up/wrestling that GSP has seen.

I agree it's unlikely GSP will lose at 170, but the next two match ups present some possible challenges.
