    No chance. That's seriously overpaying. Just watch these guys and you will see that the potential talent from them dwarfs anything Kotsay ever will be, and I'm a Kotsay fan. Love his hustle and style of playing the game, but this is waayyyyyyyyyyy to much.

    Logically; if there is going to be a deal with the Marlins; I would expect that the Yankees would receive Juan Pierre instead of Encarnacion; along with Burnett.

    The downside is I could see us benching/dumping Encarnacion. But if Pierre comes over, it will be Womack II, because the Boss loved him in the '03 series..

    I would rather give Melky a shot before Pierre. I've never been a big fan of Pierre anyway.
