Out to torment me

The rules. not the people who decide them, or vote on them, just the rules themselves. They torment me.

Let's look into the past shall we?
First year I am part of the league. I play every team that decided to have their highest scoring week of the year, week after week. My W/L record sucks, but I have a ton of points. Snuffed from the post season.

the next year, there's a WC added that included the team with the most points not to win their division.

That very next year, I miss the points WC because of the rank of the WC's. Sax beat me when I totally schooled his record. However the one who made the 1st WC, had both the points and record. But because record goes first, it left me up against Sax who had more points. Snuffed again.

The draft order this year... completely random. I was the best team not to make the playoffs last year. This year we put in a rule that the best team that doesn't make the playoffs gets first overall pick in the draft. I am far from that right now. I don't see a chance at all. Snuffed again.

I swear I have the worst luck in FBB. This year especially. I really thought I had a shot at scoring alot of points but my entire staff went on the DL. And I'm having this type of luck in every league I'm in. Anyone else get stuck keeping Beltre or Oliver Perez becuase you got them off the waiver wire or really late?

And to top it all off I'm gonna lose a bet to Eric because of this. ugh..... I need to make serious adjustments. I might start to be an Excel geek next year just so I can f*cking compete.

That year though, Sax had the most points in the league, but didn't make the playoffs, which is why the points wild-card was instituted as the "Sax rule".

I'm hoping next week with 10 potential starts gives me a huge push upwards in the points standings. It could be my last chance.

I know Sax won, but had there been that I had something to play for the last month of the season. Instead I traded away for keepers.

I'm gonna have a few guys coming off the DL soon that may help someone get what they need to be over the top. Schilling and Odalis are probably the best. Hampton is also in there.

I have two keepers I am almost certain of, BJ Ryan (18th - and this one I am certain of) and Pedro Feliz. (16th). I may be attaining another very shortly. So if I trade for keepers, they have to be better then at last these two.

Steve may be interested in having a look - OK this isn't even fun anymore - as of right now I will refrain from making anymore "Steve is gay" jokes.

On a side note - after "adjustments" I am 13.5 points behind the Ligers - the neagtive 12 that "Foulke-head" put up Tuesday is looming large at this point in time.
