What happened to Alex Sanchez?

I know the D-rays designated him for assignment, but has he been picked up yet? If he hasn't we should be all over this guy. He could play CF 5 times a week for us to basically keep Bernie out of there...he would also give us a .330 hitter to hit at the top of the order with disruptive speed like Womack. It would allow us to use Wo as a pinch runner/utility player or trade him for another bench player.

Yeah for real. Is there something wrong with this guy that we dont know about. We need a CFer badly. And hed come cheap, so we could focus on trading for other problem areas.

Sanchez is a HORRIBLE fielder. Gets thrown out way too often while stealing. Rarely walks, strictly a bunt hitter

This guy is a nightmare in the outfield. So much so that it negates his 40+ SB potential and .300 bat.

I guess I'm just reaching. Maybe we could somehow pry Joey Gathright or Hollins loose from TB? Gathright is FAST and would be great, I think. He's young. 23 I think. I know the D-ray's GM is impossible to deal with. Maybe we could get Gathright and a prospect for Duncan? I dunno if I'd even want to do that though.

Gathright needs more outfield work...other than that he's pretty good.
