My friends saw an advanced screening about a week ago and loved it. One of them works at IMAX and got to see it there as well and said that IMAX made it even better.

I'm weary about going to see anything in IMAX since they always seem to edit it from the original film. IMAX projectors can only hold 2 hours worth of film so unless the movie is short, you miss out on stuff. From what I'm reading, Bale is the best BM yet. The movie has gotten lots of positive reviews so far. It also doesn't look like a movie for the kiddies.It looks alright.

Don't know about the length issue, but for sure it screws with the original aspect ration, due to the shape of the IMAX screen.

When did they bring Jason Todd back from the dead? I have the series where he's blown up by the Joker.
It's happening right now in the current Batman's!!! Great story. He beat the crap out of the Joker with a crowbar two issues ago. All the while saying, "How do you like that?", "How's that feel?".

Wow. So they're still writing "Joker kills someone Batman cares about, Batman goes apesh*t on the Joker" stories.
Actually this is a former Robin going apesh*t on the Joker for killing his mom and almost killing him.
Then he takes over Joker's former identity of the Red Hood and starts going extreme on the bad guys. It's a great read.
