So, someone asked about Carlos Almanzar earlier on and I couldn't find him on any roster for some reason. But he's on Columbus, 8.1IP, 3H, 6 saves, 3BB, 7SO, 0.00 ERA....not too bad!

I couldn't find these stats on the Yankee website, so I went to http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=nyy.
On the right hand side down the page (On the Farm section) there are links to all the minor league team pages.
Hope that helps!![]()
www.minorleaguebaseball.com provides the only accurate stats on minor leagures. And seeing Almanzar throw yesterday, I don't need stats to know that he's the goods...

Which Stadium? He's not on the Yankees 40-man roster. Nor, to the best of my knowledge, has he played a single game in a Yankee uniform.Originally posted by yankeesrule2000

And for the record, you could make instructional videos out of his mechanics.

He started the year with the Yankees when Ramiro was on the DL. He pitched in three games, 4.2 innings, five hits, one walk, three strikeouts, two runs. I remember that he gave up a three run home run to the first hitter he faced in Parker's first start, the blowout loss to Toronto.
Thanks for refreshing my memory.
