I can envision us all on a beach with people in bathing suits all around and we're all sitting there with spreadsheets and things, fully clothed, auctioning.

Not to my knowledge; I have everyone's first name, and there was nothing even remotely feminine, so I decided "gentlemen" was alright.

In the other league there are a couple, I'm kind of shocked we have no ladies in ours.

Yes! He's off work today, but I just had to call him and let him know that he "just caught a stiff jab" on the boards.

    You KNOW you've been burned when it's a 3rd-party-phone-call-burn...

Although I would guess METS fans are used to that type of thing!

You don't have to worry about that-I'm pretty sure people will wait till a bit later in the draft to introduce Flaherty, for strategic reasons.

I just got off the phone with the guy from Fantasy Auctioneer. I have his cell phone, so we're good if anything goes wrong.

was it an auction draft though?

Btw, I just realized that this draft runs head on with the holiest time of the week - - 24 time. I'm torn. Ultimately, i will choose the draft.

and my shift key just broke. great.

No, not an auction draft, but I'm pretty sure I just saw you shaking in your boots a bit. Or shoes. Or whatever footwear you're wearing.

And I have an idea Kev-we can make it so that owners need to hit the shift key to make a bid! Just a suggestion, completely unrelated to anything above.

Luckily, I have 2 shift keys the one on the right side is still operable, but it's very awkward to push. I don't think i've pressed it once in my whole life, the right shift key...
