The guy is awful.

I liked him with Collinsworth and Aikman. I don't now how he is with only 1 guy around now to limit his talking time though, since I'm not able to watch this game because of REGIONAL COVERAGE.Originally Posted by JDPNYY

Fairly impressed by the first quarter. Other than that first drive from SD, we have played pretty well.

McCardell is having a field day against the Dallas secondary....picking on Newman this drive, then another blown coverage for the TD

Can someone who saw the game on TV give me their final impressions?
Seemed like the offense was having its way, but so was SD's, to an extent. There were an awful lot of long yardage plays by San Diego that ended with a tackle by a member of the secondary, which would seem to indicate softness underneath and a lack of pressure on the QB, but that's just what I could gather from GameCenter on sportsline. I would especially like someone's impressions of the defense. Thanks.![]()

Also, how did the offensive line play? I know Bledsoe was sacked, what, 4 times, but that could be an indication of his statue-like nature, or poor line play, or good defense from SD, or all of those, I don't know.

Dallas was blitzing alot all game long...and they did get burned a few times on some big plays....that last possession they were pretty much sending a safety and a linebacker on every play....Brees was under duress for most of the 2nd half, he just lucked into a few long passesOriginally Posted by DaBoys4LifeNYY35
Newman had a rough game, they picked on him alot and McCardell had him confused all game....but Anthony Henry just dominated....12 tackles, and INT, and I think he had about 3 or 4 pass deflections including one down the sideline on Caldwell that probably saved the game
Crayton had an amazing game....every time it seemed they needed a big play, he delivered....Julius ran hard especially on the last TD drive

With Peerless Price being activated, which WR will be inactive for Sunday?
Keyshawn Johnson
Patrick Crayton
Terry Glenn
Peerless Price
Terrance Copper
I know who I'd choose.
The "easy" choice would be Copper, but it's not really that easy. With the way special teams played last game, it's not going to be a light decision to sit"a valuable special teams player" like him, especially knowing how monumentally big Parcells is on special teams. I think he'll find someone at another position to inactivate.Originally Posted by RIyankee

Terry Glenn is the only logical choice and knowing him, he'll pout if that happens. Crayton has more upside and might already be a better player. Keyshawn is a big and physical WR who is needed in the red zone. Copper plays on Teams and a #4 wideout that doesn't is a drag on the active roster. Price won't be happy sitting down and you can't blame him since he was just signed by the Cowboys. Plus, he's younger than Glenn and has more to offer.Originally Posted by DaBoys4LifeNYY35
If I were Tuna, I'd cut Glenn. He doesn't play on Teams, hasn't come close to playing at the level of his rookie season (1996), and, as always, he's a potential headache.
I had a feeling your choice would be Glenn! The reason why it's not for me is because I still believe, based on his 2003, he's better than you think he is at this point. Still quick, still has the best hands. Plus, based on last season with all the injuries to the top 3 receivers, I would not cut a single one of these guys and feel confident, though you are right about problems arising if one of them doesn't go.Originally Posted by RIyankee

I'm agreeing here. Not so much for the fact that he isn't good and has had only one really outstanding season, because so has Glenn. The more important reason for me is Price is only 2 weeks in the system; at least Sherry has been here for over a year. I think Peerlees may work out over time, and I love the idea of all 5 of them being active later on this season.Originally Posted by dabomb2045

Nothing better than seeing the foreskins going to Dallas and getting a Big L put on them.
Can't wait for tonight. I am getting off work early so I can make it home a few mintues before kick off. I have been looking forward to this game for quite a while.

I say, quite conservatively, that we beat them 27-13. I REALLY want to say 67-3, but the main point is that the Cowboys will win convincingly.

That's what I heard on Dan Patrick and Michael Kay today. Evidentally they're pushing the telethon during halftime. I heard a few angry Cowboy fans calling into Patrick. Maybe their sources were bad and they'll show at least part of it. I know that if I was a big Cowboy fan, I'd be very annoyed if they don't show any of it. Maybe they've changed their mind between today's afternoon radio shows and the games, too-who knows?Originally Posted by SuperMario66

Pissed does not describe how I feel about half time and happy does not describe how I feel about the defense. Multiply both of those by like 1000.Originally Posted by DaBoys4LifeNYY35

I do believe this is an analysis thread.
41 yards is an inexcusable distance from which to miss. We need a new kicker.
