anyone have a copy of the HR derby the year they held it at Fenway (i think it was '99)
my buddy, who just really got into baseball this year, and enjoyed watching bombs fly out of Fenway (manny, a-rod, and all the others). I wa telling him about McGwire's show at the derby, but can't seem to locate it. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Damn, I usually tape the All-star game but I don't have too many home run derbys. I'm not sure where you could find that but I'll ask around for you and let you know if I find a source.
Man, someone at home taped over my copy of the '99 derby. I was there in person so never got to see it on TV, I know that ESPN is always showing replays of past HR Derby's so you may be able to get a copy through them or record it if they air it in the near future. One of the best shows I've seen live. McGwire was unreal but in my section all the talk was about the relatively unknown at the time Jeromy Burnitz. One of the most enjoyable times I've ever had at the Park, good luck findng a tape.
