    Depressing Sunday

I was supposed to go see the Giants vs Cardinals game today, but because of illness I can't go. To make matters worse since they are in AZ and Sun Devil never sells out for the Cards they won't even be on television. I live right near Sun Devil too, its a horrible frickin tease.

I went. You didnt miss much but an AWFUL performance by Kurt Warner and a bunch of moronic Cardinals fans acting like they had won the Superbowl after the game.

Yeah, while I was sitting in my living room watching the Vikes/Pack game I heard the mighty fireworks of victory going off. I didn't need to track the game on ESPN, kept hearing the damn fireworks as they made their comeback. Still would have liked to see Big Blue live though.

I haven't heard their fans make that much noise in a LONG time. I've only actually met one Cards fan in my entire life.

I live in Arizona and I still haven't met one.

I hate the Cowboys, but please please please let them bet the Eagles tomorrow. I want to see T.O. cry.

Heck, the Cardinals win so seldom, when they do, it must seem like the Super Bowl.

    Hope you feel better soon.

Cardinals are on the way up, though. Don't worry, if they make the playoffs in a few years there will be plenty of Cardinal hats all over the place.

I remember a Sunday night game years ago prob mid-late 90s....in Arizona against the Aikman/Smith/Irvin Cowboys...that Arizona won in OT....it was like the first time they beat Dallas in years.....the fans stormed the field and tore down the goal posts....something you see in college all the time....but something I never saw in the pros up till that point....and something ive never seen since

    Jesus Montero since June 1 (286 at-bats):
    .325/.386/.605/.991
    July 1 (182 at-bats):
    .348/.417/.658/1.075
