go to http://baseball.espn.go.com/mlb/index for a fun baseball box score quiz. It's in the upper right hand corner (under Gammon's mug) in the "Around The Horn" box. It's titled, "Classic box score quiz."

It's a real brain twister and fun to boot. It gives you an old box score and you have to deduce its historical significance from deciphering its untold secrets. If you can't get the answer, you can click in the appropriate place for it. The current quiz's box score date is May 23rd, 1901. Check it out, it's cool!

Why don't you just give the URL for the quiz??

    http://espn.go.com/classic/s/quiz/4/15.html

This is an ongoing deal throughout the season, so click back. I bookmarked it.

Click onto this site each day throughout the season to stroll through baseball history via the box score.
    .

What is today's? Biggest ninth inning rally ever??

I think it's the record for biggest comeback in a team's last at-bat. Let me check the answer...
Ha! 27 runs and the game only took 2 hours. That's how much the game has changed in 100 years.

That's a classic. Babe Ruth walks the first batter, doesn't like the calls, gets in a fight with the ump, gets ejected, and Ernie Shore relieves him. The rest is history.
