Sux Make 4 Errors in both Games - Still Win!

WTF, why couldn't their defense have broken down that way against us?! Of course I can't say definitely that it would have helped, but we try to take advantage when the opposing team gives us a window of opportunity.
Since I refuse to watch the games, I don't know if all these misques happened at a time & manner that would have opened a door for the Cards, but I can't believe with that many errors that they didn't make them pay for "dropping the ball".

The errors would happen, putting runners on base, the next batter would line out, hit into a DP, or something....it's like St Louis is saying "Thanks anyway, but take it, it's only been 22 years for us"
If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.

It also doesn't hurt that the Cardinals' pitching gave away a combined 17 runs in 2 games.

Defense was atrocious, but Schill picked them up when they needed it. Mueller had a real tough night, but they managed to get through it, thankfully.

Not a lot of fight in these birds. They're pretty much just rolling over.

Anyone else thinking that this will be one of those things that wont be a factor until the last possible moment and cost the Sox the series?

The Sox made errors, but the Cards couldn't pitch... Period.

i believe the 8 errors has only cost the sox 2 unearned runs......i may be a bit off, but it hasn't hurt us too badly.

that being said, they cannot continue to do this. This Cardinal team will come around, and i still fully expect a 6-7 games series

The 2 unearned runs is misleading. Game 1 should have been a blowout. And were it not for Schilling, yesterday could have been tough. If the Sox don't get their fielding issues straightened out, it will be a problem.
