I just got home from taking my son to see the Movie - Napoleon Dynamite.

Anyone else see it?


Funniest damn movie I've seen in a long time.

My two older sons saw it twice on their own. They told me I had to take their younger brother to see it. I hadn't heard anything about the movie, I didn't want to go.

I'm glad they convinced me, although I did almost die at least once... from laughing.

I would have thought that this movie's creators had been hitting the pipe pretty hard while coming up with the concept and writing the screenplay -- until I found out that they're a couple of BYU film school grads. Who says you can't be visionary and sober at the same time. Wacky Mormons!

This is the thing about living in a small state, it was only showing in one theatre in RI at one time, 10:20. I really didn't have much of a choice. And it was the most ................in expensive theatre too

Kip = The Truckee River Killer from Reno 911. Nice career this guy is carving out for himself. And by the way, Reno 911 is the best comedy on television, not withstanding South Park which is in a class by itself.

sorry didn't think it lived up to the hype. And maybe that was the problem, everyone saying how amazing it was, so I expected alot. Don't get me wrong it was funny, very funny at moments. But I don't think I could watch the whole thing again, alot of reptitiveness. I always thought how good a movie would be that went nowhere, and now I see I was wrong. It seems like a guy thought of a bunch of jokes and made a movie to act as a vehicle for his stand alone jokes.

Speaking of beating him up, the only part of the movie where I really had a good laugh was when he was standing at his locker and that big dude walks by and shoves him into it. It's what I wanted to do to him.
