    Cruz walked.

Good thing when the #2 hitter walks.

Huff reached on fielder´s choice to shortstop, Cruz out at second, Huff to second on shortstop Cabrera´s throwing error.

Was this a 6-6-3 or 6-6-1 play where Cabrera threw the ball away to 1B?

Glad to see Tek back in "0 fer" land. Now why didn't CJ do this on Saturday? Oh wait, he's a lefty and Tek hits lefties better.

Stuff happens. Like when Francona fielded his best glove guys at YS when Lowe pitched, but he got bounced around a bit.

I just wanna win and see Bahstunned lose!!!

Nah, he doesn't seem like a bad kid; it'd be kind of cruel to put him on the Yankees staff with the Melosaur. A good pitching coach could transform him into Cy Young...maybe if New York had another coach, or maybe Billy Connors.

Lugo doubled to deep left, Cummings scored, Lugo to third advancing on throw.

Scored a man from 1B. Nice!!!

yeah...don't forget that he's a 20 year old rookie. He's not going to be as dominant as he's been tonight thus far consistently without some experience and some solid pitching assistance.

Jersey Yankee, I saw someone at the stadium with that jersey (your avatar) on last weekend.

    Inning over. 1-0 Rays.

All depends. Is Billy mostly a fixer-upper, or does he elbow Joe that a pitcher needs to be taken out? If Mel were somewhat more responsive when a pitcher's clearly spent, I wouldn't mind Billy remaining in the fixer upper role. However, replaying one w/the other would mean that Billy would then be involved in the everyday pitching coach chores, rather than one pitcher at a time, which is what I presume he's doing now.

It was some Filipino dude, I think, somewhat pudgy, about 5'9" or 5'10" at most. PM me and I'll dig up that pic. I'd cropped it to look different, but he'd walked around in it and I asked him to pose. I cropped it and it's my av.

No, I know he's young. I'm very impressed. I was just surprised that with the quality stuff he has, he got lit up recently. Also, he's done this to the Red Sox once and it looks like it is going to be hard to score runs tonight. He blew a fastball by Ramirez, and you hardly ever see that.
