The changes in 2005 will have us back on top!
'They don't count till they count and now they count'
They sure did, and without any warning. I had to watch the bottom of the 9th on NESN.
No, they didn't switch here in Minnesota. After the 3rd out, they briefly showed the guys slapping hands and then went right over to the game. That's weird that they'd interrupt it only in some places...

Here in LA, the comcast ESPN feed that I have stayed on the baseball game while the direct TV ESPN signal switched to football.

I was watching the game on YES. There was some sort of technical difficulties in the bottom of the 9th, where the picture went out and changed to four separate images of the game. Maybe ESPN had the same technical problems.
Yeah, that was weird. Then they lost the picture altogether for a couple of pitches. Worst of all, it was with Bill Mueller batting with 2 outs as the tying run at the plate.Originally posted by NYCVirago

Same here in Miami on DirecTV. ESPN made an abrupt announcement that they were switching to the BYU/Boise State game, and off they went. No apologies, no viewing alternatives. It was such crazy timing, especially to switch for a football game that I doubt very few people even here in college football-mad Miami care about.Originally posted by newfie

Fortunately, I have Extra Innings -- the NESN feed was on the entire game but the YES feed wasn't switched on until just after the postgame started.
They did in Nasvhille also but not at the bar I was at.
“I mean, people knew that Brown was out there, and that Randy was ornery all the time. And Pavano is whoever he is. But if you’re their manager, you can’t go out and write about them like that.”
In Phoenix ESPN stayed with the Yankees & Red Sox game.
Good thing, I was still pissed at them for not showing a Yankees game that they were supposed to carry a a few weekends ago when the start times got crazy due to rainouts, etc. Back then they put on 3 hours of stupid car races instead of the Yanks. I might have lost it if ESPN switched to the football game last night.

They were probably just pissed their Sox were losing to the Yanks.

Not here in Atlanta, that I can remember. I am pretty sure we had a continuous feed.
No doubt about that.Originally posted by GoRocket
