If the Oakland A's lose 2 more games and the Anaheim Angels win 2 more games in the last 4 games for each team, the Angels win the AL West.
The A's can't lose anymore games and they have no margin for error. They need to win out and hope that the Angels lose all 4 of their remaining games.

A's won today on a walk-off HR while the Angels lost. Oakland and Anaheim are now tied and will play a three-game series in Oakland to determine who goes to the playoffs.

Because had the A's lose to the M's on Thursday and had the Angels beat
the Rangers, the Angels will be 2 games up and the A's had no choice but to sweep the Angels to win the AL West.
