    Dolphins/Bears trade

Anybody have any insights on this (Booker/I can't spell his name - DE, passrusher - Ogunleye?)? Seems to me that Miami continues to get weaker, but some of you know far more about the NFL, and (I'd guess) these players, than I.

The Fins gave up a great pass rusher for another WR. Now with Adewale Ogunleye gone to the Windy City, the Dolphins are gettin' weaker in the pass rush other than Jason Taylor. Their offense may be a little better with Marty Booker, but they still need a RB.

and Booker is good, but not really a game-breaker, is he?

Sometimes. As of yet, he's not good enough to trade a guy like Ogunleye for him, but Miami's as desperate as can be offensively. I'm of the opinion that they're way more desperate at RB than WR though(Chambers>Booker, their other guys are OK. None are Boston status though). If they were willing to part with Ogunleye, I think they should have developed a package to send him to Buffalo in exchange for whichever of the two of McGahee and Henry won't be starting there, as McGahee has said "start me or trade me." I think both would be an upgrade over Minor. We shall see.

Booker has made the Pro Bowl before, if that means anything. 3 seasons ago, I believe. Good, but not top echelon.

I don't think McGahee will be traded in the division...

Definately not and neither will Lamont Jordan for that matter. I think the Dolphins are going to be awful this season.
“I mean, people knew that Brown was out there, and that Randy was ornery all the time. And Pavano is whoever he is. But if you’re their manager, you can’t go out and write about them like that.

I think that the Fins, already crippled offensively now took a significant hit on defense. My fantasy team also took a hit. We have Jason Taylor. Opposing O's can now concentrate a little more on him. I'm just glad I'm not a Dolphin fan!
