i could use some advice on a possible trade

his is a keeper league, avg is not a stat and im in first place by a wide margin heading into the playoffs (h2h league)

    Edmonds+Vazquez+Morneau+Kent (i get these guys)

he'll also add in milton if i add in kazmir, im trying to get him to make it f-rod instead of milton though

The only benefits I see is you upgrade at second and get Vazquez for Halladay who will probably only make a few starts. But it doesn't look like you're hurting for pitching.

the downside however is you're downgrading two tremendous players too much. Do you have a replacement outfielder and 1B????

I don't think I'd do this. I think I'd rather have Dunn, Helton, and Mackowiak then Kent, Edmonds and a backup OF and 1B.

(on edit: in case anyone read this before I caught my mistake I confused the sh*t out of myself too. So this is what I really meant to say)

Well that's not a bad trade for you. Doesn't make sense at all for the other guy. Is Dunn a good keeper or something?? Edmonds and Dunn are pretty much a wash for eachother unless you're looking for walks. Is this a head-to-head categhory league?

They may be a wash this year, but Dunn is 10 years younger than Edmonds. That alone makes him more valuable in a keeper. I think Dunn has a pretty good shot at Jim Thome numbers over the next few years, while Edmonds will be lucky to keep up his current pace. I'd still do it, if you can get Hawkins too.
